Giving blood and lifting weights.

I'll be giving blood next week as a part of a school organization. My question is, how much of an effect does loosing that amount of blood have on my workout? Should I just stop lifting for a week (or two), do I only need to wait a couple days, or does it have no effect and I can continue lifting (and make gains for that lift) without worry? I believe they are taking about 1 pint of blood and my physical stats are 5'9", 170lbs about 10%bf. Thanks in advance for answers.
