Of all of the dates I've ever been on, the most memorable and special all were under $10....if that.

I guess my general feeling is that if you have to spend a lot of money to keep from being bored with someone, they're not the right person. I'd rather snuggle up in pj's with someone special and watch animal planet rather than get all dolled up and blow a lot of money.

When I lived near London, I spent on avg 70 pounds on a night out in da city -

- return train ticket from Cambridge - 15 pounds
- tube pass - 5 pounds
- sandwiches + pastries from sainsburys in camden high st - 4 pounds
- drinks at the pub before clubbing, 12 pounds (4 red bulls)
- entry to club - 5 pounds with membership card (lots more without)
- caffeine and water and chocolate until 6am - 20 pounds
- breakfast in camden following morning - 5 pounds

You need to beome a goth, save money....

I believe a woman should NOT expect a guy to pay for her date, unless they are a couple and they take turns picking up the bill because splitting it is a hassle.

Or one member of the couple earns a lot more than the other, and him/her paying is the only way they can afford a fancy restaurant.

From what you've said, you like to treat a woman to a really nice time. The date is more of a means to its own end to you.

In my case, the date is fun, but I'm hoping to get some poonanny, at least eventually. Therefore, until I'm rolling in the dough, spendin $150 is out of the question.

Not a hater just a realist. I just thought women were way cooler than I found out most are. And lately I've taken some initiative and I have a pretty successful social situation going so it's not a lack of women causing my anger...I dont know they are just so fun to pick on. =)

Plus I just read "How To Be the Jerk Women Love" which sort of irritated me further. It's more of a love/roll my eyes situation instead of a love/hate situation.

Women arent' THAT bad, the just scare me a bit that's all. Hell listen to HI's story of his girl and the way she turned basically out of the blue, will send shivers down your spine.

But generally no I dont hate women, and there are lots of good women here. For example, I am going to propose to smoknjilly right here on this thread, SJ, will you marry me?
