alright... 3 weeks ago me and a few friends hit up hooters. it was my first time there and i thought it was pretty cool. so we're just chilling, and frankly i only found 3 waitresses good looking in the whole place. one of them caught my eye and being a hooters virgin, i thought why not, ill hit on her. so when she wasnt busy i asked her name. we talked abit. when i asked her digits, she politely turned me down saying it is strictly against hooters policy to hook up with customers (believe it or not this is a real policy in hooters establishments). i didnt know this at the time. then later on during the night she came back and said why dont i give her my number. so before i left i wrote my number on a peice of paper and gave it to her. 2.5 weeks pass and no call from her. so i thought i got rejected. went about my usual existance and eventually i forgot about her. 2 nights ago one of other friends decide to hit up hooters. i was adamantly opposed to the idea because he didnt know it , but i didnt want to see her again and i thought it would be awkward. eventually they won me over and i decided that if i go low key and if we pick out a seat in the corner she wouldnt notice me.

we arrive and things were going well untill i HAD to piss and went to the bathroom and ran into her on the way back to my table. she recognized me and said my name. im like 'hey hows it going." then she told me she didnt call because she was quitting her job soon and she didnt want to get fired (apparently going out with customers is zero tolerance). i didnt want to get jerked around so i just asked her number. she said she couldnt give it in front of her manager, but she gave me her msn and i gave her mine. im like "yeah right as if you will add me."

we left hooters at 12;30am and later that night im surfing the net and had msn on at 3;30am she adds me on msn. i blocked her cuz i didnt relaly want to talk to her at the time when i was looking at porn (what else do u do at 330 in the morning infront of the pc). but i was surprised that she added me so quickly.

today i fainlly talked to her on msn and got to know her. she said she didnt want to work there anymore and that she already has a degree, but she works 6 days a week, and tmr she gets her day off and wouldnt mind doing something. she asked if i was coming tonight back to hooters, but i told her 'no' and she said she was working tonight and hoped that i would come. she said if i talked to the front door person and asked for her name and didnt enter and order food, its ok.

so frankly, i want to hit this hooters waitress. very badly. so what should be my next course of action? should i procedde to go to hooters tonight and get her to come out? or try to get a hold of her tomorrow?

Don't let her dictate what you're going to do. If she wants to see you then let it be on your terms from the start, otherwise you set a bad precedent. Tell her to call you when she's done work and maybe you can meet up with her then if your "insert fake social event here" doesn't pan out. The last thing you want is to look like the loser guy who comes to see her at work like a puppy dog.

First off, that "Hooter policy" thing is complete bullshit. I got a handjob from a Hooters waitress while she was still in uniform when I was younger. Second, you didn't say "yeah right, like you'll add me", did you? That's never a good sign - to show low confidence. It would have been better to say something like "when you message me, make sure you remind who you are again" or something like that, as if you'll forget about her the second you walk out the door.

No effing way would I ever go back to Hooters to see her. She's a waitress who works off tips. Even tho she said "you don't have to order food", it's a set-up. They are professionals. 3/4 of the guys in that restaurant on any given day are there cause they hit on the waitress and the waitress feigned interest and told them to "tee hee, come back and see me!!!!".

But, she has shown interest in you. So now you just have to get her to hang with you outside of work.

Dude just tell her you'll pick her up after she works if it's not too late and the two of you can do something better than hanging out at the anally retentive Hooters. If she refuses because of her job again, play with her a little and be like "Awww Baby, you know you're gonna have to completely break it off with this job before you can have me." If she doesn't get a chuckle from that tell her "Well it was nice talking to ya but I gotta go." and hang up and forget about her.

I dont see what is so complicated. She has your digits. She knows you are interested in her. If the interest is returned she will get back to you. If she doesn't, no need to take it personally.

I NEVER dated anyone that I met in work regardless of whether I was a bartender, administrative assistant or personal trainer. It was not the policy of any of my employers - it was my own personal policy just for the reason that you stated. You felt awkward going back there feeling like she blew you off.... Dating clients is bad for business. There are exceptions to every rule but by and large they are EXCEPTIONS.
