I can free wieght squat MORE then I can Smith Squat, since the Smith Squats forces me to have perfect form.

I am also 6'3

I'm also 6'3"....what's your point....

Being tall is no excuse for being a poor squatter. You say you lift for looks well I can't say I've seen a lot of people with small legs and a big squat. I have however seen people with small legs leg press a lot.

To answer Gambino's question

Squatvariation
DL/Goodmorning variation
Bulgarian split squats
calves

Hmm... supersets of leg extensions and deadlift upto 500 (8 supersets..)

followed by leg presses from 500x12 upto 900x6

then leg curls.. three sets 170x10-12

With my current training cycle I start each wokout with a squat. Monday: olympic back squats (high bar ass, to the floor) Wednesday: speed front squats. Friday:Heavy front squats.

Also, the smith machine is without a doubt the biggest waste of space in the gym, and not even in the same discussion with real squating.
