G-Plenish week 2

Fonz said:

Maybe so, but this type of glutamine peptides are VERY versatile.
And the feedback is not studies done on IV patients, or Pro Bodybuilders getting paid to say BS. Its REAL LIFE in vivo feedback. It doesn't get better than that. Just remember what I said about R-ALA....well this is about as good.

1. Can be used to increase GH at night.

2. Is one hell of an immune system booster.

3. Can be used to replenish depleted intracellular glutamine stores after strenous excercise at a MUCH smaller ratio than normal free-form L-glutamine.

e.g. You'd need 100g L-glutamine to get about 2.5g to your bloodstream.(After passing through the GI Tract)(Efficiency = 2.5%)

Then, you'd only need about 6-9g of the peptide version, to get
2-3g to your bloodstream.(After passing through the GI Tract)(Efficiency = 33%)

Thats an improvement of (1/40): (1/3) = 13.3:1

Thats an improvement of 1333% in glutamine absorption.

So yeah..... I definately recommend this supplement. Effects are noticeable < 1 week at 2 scoops/day.

Fonz

Fonz or anyone, could you please post the studies these statements are based on? I must have missed them the first time.

Thanks very much. :)

Alright I'm going to try some, if nothing happens I will be very put out

btw, if you know, is there any difference between these and kilosports' glutamine peptides?

So, there's 1200 grams in a container. What is the recommended serving size per day? (in grams)

???

Also, Fonz -- I assume you are suggesting GH release by ingesting on an empty stomach prior to sleep... How many grams would you think is necessary to do this? I wanted to try it with l-tryptophan (not 5htp), but never got around to it...

looks like a scam for a few reasons

#1 Glutamine has no effect on muscle fullness sorry guys.... Placebo perhaps?

#2 Those are the EXACT same claims that the first L-Glutamine has... Strange!

#3 Why would your body, since it exists, needs glutamine? Now that this new super-peptide version is out, there's no other way to go since it avoids you to go in a catabolic state. Also, there's so much glutamine depletion while your working out that there's no way you could have put on 45 lbs without those super-peptides...

There's a lot of good review, so had the first l-glutamine (heck! there's still guys that swear by it!), and it looks more bio-available. Still it looks like all those older scams. I give it the benifit of the doubt. I might even try it. But seriously I have huge doubts about what I'm reading.

Thats a good idea.

3g L-Trytophan combined with two servings of GPlenish(12g Peptides) + 200mg R-ALA = GH Pulse.

Remember that glutamine is a glucogenic AA and raises BG levels and therefore insulin.(Not much..but appreciable). Taking 200mg R-ALA with the combo reduces the insulin release(Because of smaller BG levels due to the R-ALA), and allows the GH pulse to take effect.
(As you know, insulin levels are inversely related to GH levels).

well, there's no conversion into insulin like growth factor... So it's pretty much useless (gh pulse). Do you know that licorice actually gives a GH pulse? So why not taking licorice with r-ala ! It would do the same after all... j-k.

I'm just saying that there's so many things that gives a GH pulse and that are ultimely totally useless at the very best.

L-tryptophan by itself is pretty well known to give enough of a GH release (when taken in the appropriate quantities) to have an appreciable effect on physique. I don't see why the cocktail that Fonz is suggesting wouldn't work...

There's not enough igf1 conversion... It would be better to buy some lr3 igf-1. Better cost/effectiveness ratio to my eyes.

You need to have a firm anti-G guy like Nelson confirm its effectiveness for this to start a revolution. You all remember how we all thought Creatine sucked before he told us different :D

Seriously, you need to send him some free stuff to try ASAP......better yet, send it to Nelson AND JA........if they both like it it's a new f*cking religion:fro:

Hi Machine.
at over 1200 grams you will be getting about 70-75 servings
a serving size is 17 grams
each day you would want about 2-3 servings
wich would be from 34-51 grams of G-plenish a day
any more than three is not necessary, you will never get sore again:)

Hi Frack!
Chill, you'll like it, just make sure you take at least 2-3 serving a day, and give it a week.
about the difference in regards to G-plenish relative to other Peptides here is a nutshell explanation:
night v's day

Fonz was as pretty ANTI- Glutamine as anyone I ever met.
also some of the owners of the 3 stores carrying it were
in fact they were MORE skeptical than most here, but then they tried it , and well.........
here I am:)

Hi
your certainly entitled to your opinion, and I take nothing away from youIn fact just like you, I am VERY skeptical, actually a little bitter concerning all the BS out there.
if one day you decide to take it, you wont be let down.
thats all I can really say.
sometimes you just have to trust that once in a while the guy talking to you, is not always trying to blow smoke up you butt.
