bro next time just tell them your a diabetic and put your gear in a small pouch make up some fake med labels for any type of insulin and bingo tell them when you go up that you need a hand search for diabetic with needles and pins just make sure you have that labels on all vials . I keep my old slin bottles just for this occasions! you know most of the time any metal in your bag that's not caught first past in the scanner get's your bag flagged my GF just told me or it was the shape of the pins and the top of the vial that set off the search bag light either way bro good to hear you didn't get busted for a dumb ass mistake like this.times like that you'd be thankful for stealth products!

far as i know you don't need a RX to buy insulin in many states so it won't be to hard to pull this off and once you tell them your a diabetic they pretty much won't question anything you have in that pouch .Hell I even make them hand search it so i don't get my gear or slin gamma rayed and I fly a hell of a lot! only had one bag stopped due to a large number of pins i had stored it it cause i was going away for 2 weeks.
