Fructose vs. dextrose vs. low GI carbs with insulin

I have read two different opinions on what carb to take with insulin (humalog). One is to use dextrose the other fructose. According to Chad Nichols dextrose when used with insulin is out of the system too fast, so fructose is better as it is in the system longer with the insulin. This makes sense as I have read that muscles take up carbs slowly and fat sucks them up.
Now I take dextrose when not on slin to get an insulin spike from it. But since I am getting an insulin spike from the exogenous insulin, it seems that I wouldn't need a high GI carb with it. But I have also read that fructose doesn't help with muscle glycogen restoration. I've been using a dex/fructose split with the 'slin. Maybe the best would be to use a low GI carb along with dextrose to cover the 'slin, since I already have the insulin spike from the humalog.
What do y'all think about all this?

bro I'm not to knowledgeable on slin since I don't want to mess with the stuff, but I would suggest maybe using a 50/50 or some combo of Dextrose and Maltodextrin for maxium muscle glycogen replenishment. The maltodextrin will stick with you longer, and besides what the fuck do you need a slower digesting form of glucose anyways? Do you not eat after your Postworkout shake? My reasoning for the dextrose is to get and insulin spike, it's fast absorbtion allows for the muscles to uptake fuel in the form of glucose much quicker. You want to kickstart anabolism and switch from catabolism...immeadiately postworkout! So drink you friggin shake then eat some real food to supply you with the slower digesting carbs.
