For all the guys whom have gotten gyno surgery

Been 3 weeks since my op....

Have you guys been applying any type of ointment to the scars? Do you avoid direct sun light to the scars?

My fluid retention has decreased and my doc told me i could probably do light training started next week. How long did you guys wait?

I had the operation twice. Definitely stay out of sunlight for a while because it could make the scars worse. I just applied OTC antibiotic ointment on mine. It should be ok to do some light excercises. I still have the stitches in mine.

Did the doctor cut the gland out too? How does it look? It looks like mine has a slight indention in it.

He did't remove the entire gland, just the hard tissue. My nips look a hell of alot better then before the operation, but they aren't flat yet becasue of some minor swelling.


BTW, Why did you have the operation twice?

And how long you gona wait till you start benching?

Gyno sucks

luckily i had mine removed on the NHS, took all the shit out, i had gyno since the of 14, had the op in 96 couldn't train for 8 weeks due to the size of my pec muscles (they had to go in deep) can't even see the scars now and i don't have to take nolv, so my growing is uninhibited.

My surgery was around $3500. The gyno was nothing terrible. I had two large lumps under both nips, and they hurt and made the nips stick out a little.


BUMP for anyone else who has had the surgery.

I had mine also a little over three weeks ago. The doctor told me to use vitamin E oil and massage it. I still have a little swelling and this past Friday I had to get it drained there was fluid in there it was like old blood or something cause it was brown and slimy.

I had the operation twice because the first time he used lipo and got all of the fatty tissue out around the gland. The only problem was that the gland was the source of the problem. That's where all of the pain came from as well as the little lump. When it healed up after the first surgery, everything was exactly the same as before the operation, so I went back in to get the rest of it cut out.

I was able to start benching about two weeks after the surgery. I felt like I could have started after one week, but I wanted to give my skin time to heal before I got a big chest pump. I already have enough stretch marks in that area so I didn't want to add to them with a stretched out scar. LOL
