well like i said, its hard to say... the best thing to do is just keep track of progress and see what is working well and what is not... dont get stuck in the same routine too long either... your body adapts and you need to continue to shock it...

Yeah I'm 21 now and started a little less then a year ago.

You're so young man. You are just becoming a man. Once you hit 23-24, your strength is going to sky rocket naturally.

Just be patient and keep at it. Stay focused. You are way too young for steroids. Just keep grinding away at the gym, eat well and you will get the body you want.

Not ready to take anything yet sine I've only been lifting for a year. But a year ago my Max's were deadlift 225 my sqaut was 200 and bench was 140 now I'm at 315 300 and 205 so still making decent progress. But when I am ready wwhatshould I start out with and also what are the things every newbie does wrong

Read, read and read some more. Check out posts on the forum and see what the guys ask all the time - loads of mistakes.

Your progress is quite good.

Yeah I know I was just wondering like personally what everyone did within a year.

making a lot of progress in a year is not a smart idea. your body is not a robot. do NFL players make progress in a year? NO! they been playing football since they were 8. they played 4 years of high school and 3-4 years of college.

you sound impatient, and when you are impatient at anything in life you will either give up or your body will punish you.

your goals should be 5-10 years, not 1 year

I was just wondering how people progressed in the first year. I know it takes forever to get where you want but I was just asking how everyone progressed in their first year of lifting
