Hello EliteFitness crew.

I've come here to log my first cycle which will be sponsored by @Core_Pharma.

Backstory

Almost 34 and have been training on/off for 15 or so years with the last few being relatively consistent considering life factors. I've been on TRT (150mg) for three years. I cut down to 102kg from 115/120 prior to starting TRT. I then cut down to 92ish kg last year before easing up a bit on how strict I was going with diet/food. I am currently sitting around 95kg.

Late last year I had a semen analysis done which returned 0 sperm. This was due to ceasing HCG with my TRT. @Core_Pharma helped me out with HMG/HCG for a fertility protocol which was successful and ended with my partner pregnant last month. I can't thank him enough.

We are due to be out of the first trimester in about a month. Once that milestone has been reached, I plan to begin my first blast. I am going to use the month or so to cut down to a lower BF%.

I have realised that over the years I have become complacent in my training and pushing myself, moreso going through the motions with little to no progression. As the wise say "The best time to start was yesterday, the second-best time is now"

Cycle

Input appreciated Assessing between the old standard 500mg test OR titrating up test and primo to around 500/600mg total. Both for 16-20 weeks depending on bloodwork. Bloodwork to be done pre, mid and post cycle.

Training

5 days a week.

Back/Biceps
Chest/Shoulders/triceps
Legs/Abs
Rest
Back/Biceps
Hamstrings/Abs/Traps

Back and Abs are what I want to bring up most.

Diet

Tracked with Macro factor, macros to be calculated.

@AusCreatine diet has been really good but I do think protein should be going UP higher with your thick size now

Make sure you update us on specific Foods, you're eating, not just your Macros very important to know that.

why the hcg? just curious what the reasoning is.
I shut myself down completely on TRT. I ran a fertility protocol of HMG/HCG alongside my TRT (supplied by @Corepharma ) to restore fertility enough for my wife to get pregnant. I have stopped the HMG and lowered the HCG to a maintenance dose as we go through the first trimester in the event that something happens with the pregnancy and we have to try again.

Once we are through the first trimester I will drop the HCG as fertility won't be required.

Weight

Average weight for the week is 95.9, down 1.4kg from 97.3kg the week before.

Diet
Calories have been sitting around goal targets, with a couple days being over by 50-100g carbs. One day was over by a good 1500 calories due to an event. Calories will stay the same for this week with a goal of 2130cal/194P/60F/202C

Gear
Still on 125mg @Corepharma test e a week split twice as my TRT dose. 4 more weeks of this then should be right to up the dosages. Also running 250iu HCG 3xweek to maintain fertility til end of first trimester.

Training
As mentioned earlier having some slight pain in my AC ligament. Training will be adapted to accommodate for this and will drop down to a 4 session week.

Back/Biceps
Legs/Abs
Chest/Triceps
Back/Hamstrings/Abs

I will take it easy on my shoulders for a few weeks. I also have some BPC+TB coming from my sponsor @Corepharma to run alongside some stretching and light rehab shoulder work.

I've been incorporating more stretching daily which has revealed multiple muscle imbalances. some which can be seen in these progress photos. The plan is to continue working through them and even out my body. My posing needs some work as well which can be addressed in the coming weeks.

Overall it was a successful week and looking forward to getting it done again this week.

@AusCreatine why your protein dont go up? I think you can grow with it honest

Yoga is going to be important in Daily stretching. Maybe set some time to stretch before bed every day.

AC ligament gotta be careful.
Inflammation in their means. There's some type of issue going on.

Might want to get that injury checked out by a good orthopedic.

let them see how bad it looks

sometimes injuries can heal on their own. but if you keep pounding they will only get worse and become chronic

You are looking fantastic in these pictures. Nice Flex.

You look very conditioned. Keep up the good work.

Keep working on your imbalances that smart that you acknowledge that.

@AusCreatine Great update man.....yoga will help with shoulder..........

Hello EF family.

I have been seeing professiuonals for issues with my left shoulder and have discovered there are significant mobility issues with my left scapula, possibly related to mid/low trap issues.

My timeline for my first blast will be pushed back while I get these sorted. Hopefully it's something minor and nothing major nerve related.

Thanks for the support and I will see you all soon :)

AC joint is alright, slightly wider than the other shoulder. I did some research and realized I was unable to retract or depress my left scapula so went to physio and asked him to look at my lower/mid traps which they did some needling and massage and I can actually move it again.

I did some light unilateral back exercises today and It feels like I'm using the correct muscles for the first time. Plan will be to slowly build on the light work till I am at capacity for some heavier work. I am looking forward to having full capacity in the left scapula so when I bench I can get a proper movement pattern going.

@Corepharma Test E. TRT is 125mg/week.

The estrogen was same time as the testosterone results. I have 1 more week of HCG then will drop it and get extensive blood panel in 2 weeks to see where everything is at in preparation to blast once my injuries are no longer affecting me as they are.

Had an ultrasound on my knee which revealed a bakers cyst and possibly ligament tear. It's been an on/off issue for years which i'm finally getting on top of everything. I will have to see what the doc says next week, hopefully an easy fix.

estrogen almost norma
this is today?

good split bro
how about volume? and how about food? @AusCreatine

Volume has been moderate with light loads.

12 week pregnancy scan has come back all good and we are out of the first trimester. Hard to believe I was infertile 7 months ago and here we are now with a successful pregnancy all thanks to @Corepharma. The blokes amazing.

I had an ultrasound on the knee and they suspect a meniscal tear with a couple cysts. Booked in for an MRI to confirm and will go from there. Training wise I can still do upper body. Worst case it will require surgery but will cross that bridge when it comes.

Im good to go on cycle in regards to the pregnancy, but with a possible meniscal tear I am unable to train legs at the moment. It should be diagnosed next week so can see then what the plan is. I am hoping for a simple fix with a short recovery

yu can do upper right?

hope all is well, big win bro!! @Corepharma is top tier man!

hope the knee is recovering fast mate!
Thanks Abalone! The blokes a legend. I have MRI results tomorrow so see how we go!

yu can do upper right?
Sure can! My trap activation drills are paying off and strength is coming through my back slowly. I have some BPC/TB on hand from Core which I will run dependent on MRI results tomorrow.

Update
I've been AWOL lately, a combination of feeling down about the ongoing issues with the body and some increased binge eating unfortunately. @Corepharma has been kind enough to send me out some of his reta to assist me cutting down to begin my blast. I have 10mg on hand which I will run at 2mg/week for the next 5 weeks and aiming to drop 5kg over that period.

Weight

I am currently sitting at 98ish kg but due to some of my eating habits lately I may have a significant weight drop in the first 1-2 weeks.

Training
Training wise will be dependent on MRI results. I would like to train the initial split if possible.

Injuries
Knee issue which will be diagnosed this week
AC joint issue has resolved through addressing underactive muscles in the area.

Diet
Seeing how hard I can push diet while using the reta. Calories will be around 2200-2300 initially and taper down from there. If weight loss is slower than anticipated and lowering calories further isn't the play I will run Reta for up to another 5 weeks.

Supplements
150mg test e split twice a week
2mg retatrutide once a week

5g Creatine
Multivitamin
1g NAC
8g Fish oil

@AusCreatine binge eating is a real thing.
best advice i can give you is don't keep junk in your house and find out what triggers the binge eating
That is what i do eliminate the junk at home to stay in course.

The Reta has just been introduced again. Last time at 2mg/week it worked exactly as required so expectring the same again!

Appreciate the advice brother. It coincides with a crash in energy. Moving around and getting out and about usually prevents it!
@AusCreatine Hopefully you get good results with your MRI. I'm sure they won't know the results for another week
Results have come back with a great result. Patella burisitis which doesn't cause too much grief and a cyst which I will get drained in a few weeks. No tears or structural damage which means I can get ease back into leg training while waiting for the cyst drain.
@AusCreatine I'm looking fantastic, man. Make sure you work on stomach vacuums. So, you can get a tighter waist.
I need to incorporate more core work overall as well. Will be chucking in 5-10 minutes on the end of my sessions before cardio
