Finally Kicked The Addiction!

man, that's great, seriously.

i love hearing stories like this... doesn't it feel great to have a clear head and really feel alive again without drugs...

gear is good too b/c it gives you kind of those same feelings of well-being and can help you stay sober.

not to be a wet blanket but be careful during pct, make sure you have a good support system (friends, s/o, family) to help you stay clean when you hit rough patches...

remember addiction is life-long. be kind to yourself and have a merry christmas.

Just another thought here. You may want to stay off the juice until you have a bit of sobriety under your belt. There are WAY to many similarities between the 2 (no buzz with AAS of course). A lot of addiction is not just going after the buzz. It is the ritual behind it all, and the underlying needs in ones mind for something "different." Juice fill both of those roles. Its a very slippery slope my friend.

Part of recovery is brutal honesty. Allow me to be brutally honest with you.

You are detoxed, not "sober." Sober come later - after a lot of work.

very true words.

I am a recovering addict and it is a hard road to staying clean, but worth it and so much more. Dont give up, ever.

I am a recovering addict as well. Congratulations. I am writing this simply to prepare you for what your body will most likely go through. If you were doing (8) 80's a day (like me) and you have been on suboxone for 3 weeks you have more of a battle ahead of you then you might realize. I am certainly not trying to be negative, but I have an enormous amount of knowledge on this subject. Suboxone is something that you should wean off of, gradually. to take it for 3 weeks and stop isn't the best route to go IMO. Suboxone stays in your system for 3-4 days so it is very possible that the first 3-4 days you feel great and you feel like you have kicked the disease. All I know is that when i got clean the first 4-5 days that i was off the subs i felt great...it was days 4-12 that were brutal. Again, I honestly just want to help you and wish you the best of luck. feel free to PM any questions about successfully tapering off of that substance and STAYING CLEAN (that can be a bitch as well). narcotics anonymous meeting were a blessing for me

how long was the actual Crash?

YES Oxys are HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE

they should be made illegal even as a Script

purdue medical has been Sued MULTIPLE timed since some claim they knew how addictive they could be

some I know came off but you have to taper wisely and basically force yourself to crash slighly each day but not fully to avoid the bad mentality effects
