F*ckin BRUTAL! Olympic weightlifter turns his elbow back to front

I guess this is why they dont do weight associated events in sports day in schools =/ God I would love to be able to do the squat etc for sports day at school but too many scare stories about stunting growth and videos of injuries like this..
I remember when I was 13, had been training with my dumbells in my bedroom for about 4 months, I used to use 6.5kg dumbells, when I asked my P.E teacher about weightlifting he said I should switch to 2kg dumbells and do 50reps per arm otherwise my arms wont grow when I get to about 15.. lol..

Video has been removed from Youtube because it doesn't comply with their standards, so you'll have to watch college kid drinking till they're puking or cats sleeping in kitchen sinks or whatever bullc*nt they usually like to accept.

I found the video here instead though:

Seems like he was favoring his left all the way through the lift and just as he was completing the receive in full squat he couldn't steady it before attempting to recover the overhead squat. Possibly just a fraction of a second's lack of pure focus as the hard work is already done at that point (getting it up and getting under it fully).

Was very brave of him I thought - he already had two lifts in the bag and didn't HAVE to achieve the 3kg increase. When you feel it's out of position like that 9/10 times you'll just have to drop it if it doesn't feel right. He just wasn't going to let go!

These injuries are more common as lifters focus on technique and don't strengthen their shoulder girdles with enough presses and superheavy lockouts.

That fuckin sucks man....poor dude!
