Read up. Then decide. Watch the video, then decide. Just saying.. it doesn't hurt to know. The minute I saw what they do to cows/pigs, I stopped eating them.

I think the reason the masses are not phased by this is one is that they don't eat fois gras and most people treat their own bodies worse.

Now I like liver but if you really think about what the liver does and what you're eating that alone should sway people.

That all aside I won't eat veal or venison and yet I can happily crack up a lobster, suck that thing dry and still feel for bad for the live lobsters huddled in the corner at the fish market.

That's f*cked up - I know it and on occasion it disturbs me.

I also know I'm not alone.

Either way I think you deserve props for standing up for what you believe in.

I can't eat bambi.

I look out my window and bambi cousins are outside manging on the neighbors landscaping and I'm still running to take their picture.

Now if I had pigs and cows in my back yard .... I dunno might be like lobster.

OMG

There are farm fresh eggs all over out here - and I mean really fresh like from the coop in the back yard to the make shift stand at the top of the road kinda fresh.

Once you go farm fresh you won't go back to store bought white freaky and those fake brown eggs.


So yeah, part carnivore and part hypocrite.

i thought you were going to tell me they do horrible things to the deer....in which case i might have a problem with it...

i look at it this way, if I thought about it hard enough, I could convince myself that i should never eat another animal again...because I do feel bad about the way they are treated, and I don't like killing them. and I have killed animals....and I didn't like doing it. I just don't think about it. I couldn't live without meat.

well, I didn't read the whole thread.

Actually, I read the thread title and then skimmed through the first post. That gave me the following conclusions:

1. IP is a hardcore vegan. I mean, not a wimpy eggs-milk vegan, but a really hardcore one. In fact, she is like "If it doesn't have roots, I'm not eating it Peter"

2. IP only uses man-made materials: she despises people that wear leather anything: shoes, pants, skirts, etc. In fact, her car has specially ordered synthetic leather finish (or human leather, whatever was more expensive)

3. Animal tested products? You can bet she only uses 100% organic products, she goes to the river, smash some roots together and uses that to wash her hair... I'm telling you peeps.

ehhh. If I was wrong in any of the above, no problem, we understand that only cute animal have rights and/or are worth fighting for

This is an excellent thread to make in a site where most people call it a "good day" when the eat 200+ grams of A N I M A L protein
