"it is only the beginning" is a quote she made to begin this stupid thread if i am not mistaken. she said it right. these are the same people that want guns, hunting, fishing, and any damn thing to do with animals banned. to bad they never mention the rest of the truth. conservation by hunting and other activities has improved the conditions and numbers of every wild animal in the U.S. but now she will tell us that it is just duck liver that is the focus,,,,,,BULLSHIT!!....i'm just saying......

I didn't read the thread nor am I going to because I can just imagine the flamefest.

My opinion about animal rights is simple really.

My children have been taken from their only mother and forced to live with their abuser. And if you think that this is only happening to MY children, you are sadly mistaken. My husband and I are seriously pursuing a NPO to help bring attention to the plight of children like mine... THERE ARE MANY.

So forgive me if I don't get all up in arms over animals.

Why not petition government to stop the abuse of HUMAN children?

To a point I agree with you completely - but, I feel that animals shouldn't be left in the dust. The way people treat them is incredibly inhumane and something I won't stand for....

And yes for children, the mentally ill, retired veterans, etc, as well. I know a good handful of amazing people who are fighting specifically for children... and that means putting their asses on the line... so don't be fooled... there are people out there doing a great job rescuing kids... just heard (close family friend) about another child rescued earlier this week.... pedophile/child pornographer behind bars now.

Idiots like IP have destroyed every national park, most of the deer species (except in TX where we cull them) by not allowing the forests to be harvested Makes the trees burn cause of all the teenie tiny trees that can't get light..... So save the seals and coyotes! I have coats of both!!! They are really warm and kinda soft!
