In the US and specifically the northeast I guess. Not sure, but what do you pay in utility bills each month? Now that winter is upon us and heating bills are scary, I'm wondering how mine compares to others.

My last three months were...
$152
$250
$353

My neighbor paid $550 last month, so I'm not doing too bad. I have about 1600 Square feet. Two floors and a basement. I have 2 forced air heat and AC units for 2 zones.

A! Let's compare. Also, I'm always home so the heat has to stay on 24/7. I set mione pretty high during the day and night.

Go! If this gets no replies, I don't care, I'm banning people!!

Mine in the winter is around $120. it's also a 1br apt. I keep heat off while at work, and off in the living room when I am sleeping, unless I am hittin the skins, then I leave it on in all rooms in case she needs to get up to stretch or something. then I hit that shit again. with a bat. and toss it into my trunk. then take a little drive to Staten Island. then go home. then turn the heat up even more cause it's cold out in that dump. then that shit gets to like $150 a month and then the skins hittin gots ta move to her crib. but her goddamn roommate is always home and talking. so I turn the heat down in their apt to flush the roomie out. then i hit the skins all over again. HEAT, nigga.

Didn't you just put more insulation in your attic GL? I put another 15" up there this past fall and even with the increased cost of gas/electricity my bills are still better than they were a year ago. It makes a huge difference.

Last year my winter heating bills were $200-330 a month. My most recent one was for $175.

Last bill was for $128 - gas + electric....don't have a new bill yet....

Edit: Keep the heat set at 55....no higher than 60.... :cold:

LOL.. I think I turned my heater on three times this year. My electrical bill sucks though cause I still run the AC

GL- 2900 sq ft house, oil heat- probably around $750 a year in oil but my electric bill is outrageous- its been as high as $350 a month but i went on a payment plan so its around $200 a month now.

Heck, I guess I have it made.

I have a 2500 sq ft house, electric heat pump, keep the heat at 69 degrees and my heating bill usually costs around $70. The most it is is around $129 in February.
