is statement 1. and 4. contradictory?

constantinople fell in 1453 in a battle, to the ottoman turks, so how could the muslims have destroyed byzantine and form the ottoman turks. you are beginning to talk in circles my friend.

2. the byzantine empire had its center at constantinenople, with its heartland in asia minor, while the moslem empire held its heartland in fertile crescent from mesopotamia to egypt. different regions right?

i will not deny Europe as a culture and as a people have come a long way and accomplished great things. i do not however feel they or any other culture or race as you put it is superior. we are all created equal.

We were not created equal. That is why some of us are stronger, some of us are smarter, and some of us are better at dealing with people. If people are so obviously unequal why do you insist that cultures/races must be equal?

i will throw this at you, though Europe has commanded some of the world's greates empires they have never been able to hold them for very long. that in itself makes them equal to those they oppressed and conquered.

here's a tidbit for you, you feel Europeans are the master culture, who saved your ass in WWI, WWII from you own? the Western culture and civilizations known as America and Canada. Dumbfuck, most Americans and Canadians came from European ancestors. So they ARE Europeans for the purposes of this discussion.

Yes. Africa was divided up in the latter part of the 19th century and early part of the 20th. (and there is no need to mention South Africa to you is there? An unfortunate climate of apartheid prevailed there, but it was civilization set up by Europeans). Europeans brought agriculture to the region, including coffee, cotton, sorghum, etc - previously, no major subsaharan agriculture existed.

Yes, colonialism was so beneficial to African culture. Thank God they were so organized and intelligent. Did you know the colonialists lost money from the colonies? Why do you think they had them? To expand and grow in the ever reaching bounty of intelligence that is European culture? No. To impress their culture onto another one, just for attitudes like this. And then when everything was gone, they pulled out leaving most colonial countries with no independent government or viable resources to work with.

Nope. The Ottoman Empire's capital was Istanbul.

I say again, your grasp of history is appalling. The Ottoman and Byzantine Empires never coexisted. The Muslim empire of the low middle ages was NOT called the Ottoman Empire, and it was NOT dominated by Turks (as the Ottoman Empire was). Go read some history.

europe the most technologically advanced? hmm, i don't think so. europe gets most of it's technologal uprgrades from Japan and the u.s. the u.s. military for example is the world's most technologically advanced and there is no denying that.
