Bah, all people's opinions on this matter int he negative aspect are all based on silly,modern, mainly American type laws.

Oh yeah sure today someone who's 30 and dates a 14 year old or whatever belongs on sally jesse, but a few hundred years ago, and even still today in many other cultures and civilizations it's commonplace and no one gives a shit, because they're smart to involve politics with love/lust. But, in my country's case (U.S), we think that just because what we say is right wrong, that means it is universally right and wrong, and those aliens on Pluto committing pedophillic incest should be hung because it's the American and Christian way.

Fuck that. Fuck modern laws and this whole modernization bullshit. Shit some things we have no problem with now, in a hundred years it'll be taboo as well. What kind of tests are they basing these facts of of? maturity with the body..Maturity how? What are these measures of maturity? Maturity is relative to your surroundings and lifestyle. What's mature for a 15 year old in small town russia might be a different standard of maturity for a 15 year old in L.A.

You thinking back to when you were teen, you're reflecting on what your life consists of now, and how you couldn't be successful in whatever path of society you chose totake if you continued to act like that. So of course your thinking then was foolish when you compare it to now. If you're not comparing it to now, what are you comparing it to? In general? In general to what though? There's always gotta be a standard for comparison.

With that in mind, you're standards will not be the same as everyone else in the world. Just because you believe your standards to be absolutely right, doesn't mean they really are. That's the wonders of humanity, the differences in all of us. That's why it's just easier not to argue and stress points you think are valid, and just call the whole thing off and go with the ideal of "Do whatever you want as long no one gets intentionally hurt." If the world lived by this platinum rule, and kept their noses out of everyone's preferences, wow, what a utopia we'd have.

Burning Inside is ABSOLUTELY correct. Laws are nothing more than someone's opinion, and then putting it on a piece of paper to make it official. Then the rest of the sheeps follow that "rule," thus creating a "moral".

And who cares about the maturity thing? Why do people make such a big deal out of it? So I want high school ass, and maybe that's all I want. Just for the sex. And if I get it, I win. If said high schooler gets it and wanted it, she wins. If she regrets it later in the future, she (or he) loses. Ever think of that as a possibility, rather than trying to come up with psychoanalytical ways to explain complex attractions of different ages and how it can/can't work? Let's keep it simple...

Hey I'm not going to rag on you about how you're going about that whole thing, but I just want to point something out to you. You do realize that the 18 year old rule isn't in effect in every single corner of the world. And you do realize that this whole "They're under 18 so they are confused, emotionally unstable, and whatever and ever" thing that is branded in your head, and many many others heads in America and other countries to be absolutely universally wholefully the solid truth, is just certain governments of the world's ruling. It's government doctrine and nothing more. So with that in mind, you do realize that it doesn't make it absolutely right, and you're basing how to raise your kids around how the government thinks you should be doing it, right?

I wonder in the future what else the government will make laws about, and how many of us will percieve these laws as being wholeheartedly true and base our lives around? Yeah sure, I and anyone else who doesn't agree can just "Leave if they don't like it!", but I just wonder how many more laws and regulations will be creeping in under our noses in the next few hundred years or so that will strip away ever so slowly some of the things we view today as basic freedoms, normalities, and parts of humanity.
