Ohio has some fine looking men.

I think I'm going to start organizing "date" trips ($100.00/head) bring women from NYC and DC out to Ohio to find them a fine looking man (Similar to what Oprah did with the men from Alaska).

Java seems to complain the most . . . I'll start with a bus trip to Toledo.

I think you missed the point I know I can do it myself hello been opening doors on my own for a lot of years. It is just the extra effort the a gentelamn takes to walk around to the other side unlock the door and open it for your rare and very sweet.

To each their own I guess. Opening a door for a lady is the right thing to do IMHO. If she don't want it, fine. But until she tells me to stop, that's what I'll do. I'm a bit old school when it comes to stuff like that.

All I know is that my baby likes and deserves to be pampered no matter if she works or stays home. She's all that matters.

My stepfather and my mother have been together 20 soemthing years the go anywhere together and he always opens the door for her. :) It is old school yes but it is sweet and classy also speaks volumes on how you were raised.

But, I agree. If you do it dating, then you should continue doing it. Props to stepdad! Most guys do it only in the beginning.

I dated a guy who was adamant about the car door thing. I wasn't used to it. It seems kind of tedious and sort of unnecesary. It was a very nice genuine gesture though. But I could live the rest of my life without needing a man to open and close my car door.
 
There are a million other ways to please a lady w/out having to open her door, however if that's what she likes then that's what she'll get.
