not tryin to be a dick here but really what is a letter to the family gonna do? Are these people under 18?
Cause I know my brother is over 18..We all know of his problem, yet nothing can be done except a few "talking to's".He is over 18 and will do what he wants to do..Nothing will change that.All we can do is simply sit by and watch him self destruct.

The peeps that I knew that slung coke, acted it... but they weren't shit. I punked a number of them on their bullshit, they ain't got nothing.

i wasnt talking about the friend of a friend guy who sells small stuff to supply his habit. i was referring to people who live the dealing lifestyle. maybe you guys have never come in contact with these people. i like how everyone would simply knock these guys out. i understand what type of people you are referring to. im not talking about nickel and dimers.

No really my brother was not well..We went to the annual keg party and he showed up..my dad is a bitch when it comes to making all of us kids go in the pool..So my brother took his shirt off, holy hell the tracks and band bruising was the worst I had ever seen before in my life......
My oldest brother came up from Texas to give him a talking to..He was pretty rough in what he said..Obviously rough enough..Although my brother is not 100 % clean, he is far better than before..I wish he could stop...But he never will.
I guess the meaning behind this story is that yes family can help but they cannot make someone stop.

in my opinion you can't stop them from buying coke........and if you cut off their supply from that one dude they will easily find another....and most likely be seriously pissed off at you for jumping the gun and trying to play god with their decision making.

what I would do is have a serious talk about you being concerned about the direction they appear to be traveling towards.you can't control whether a person does or doesn't do drugs,what you can do is support them with advice and suggestions...and be there as a friend.
