Drinking Coka-Cola on Bulking Cycle??

Hi, ive just started a DBOL/Test Prop cycle and i decided to only drink water and eat alot of protein and carbs, and avoid alot of unhealthy foods and drinks, but before i started my cycle i was drinking like 1L of Coke a day.

Now ive gone cold turkey for 3-4 days and i really wanna have a cup..

I dont want to drink Diet Coke or Coke Zero, the reason im not sure if i can have a cup every couple of days is because of the Caffine.. i dont want my blood pressure going too high cause ive read that dbol/prop increases blood pressure already, and i wanna know if im trying to bulk can i drink a cup of regular coke every other day to stop my cravings? and will that extra sugar/caffine affect my gains in any way? Im eating pretty well right now.. alot of chicken breast and tuna etc.. i really want a Coke now thou!
 
If you're Bulking i see no reason not to have at a coke every now and then.It won't affect gains,even i have a coke every once in a while.Just don't drop back into old habits and overdo it.

Hundreds of grams of pure sudgar daily has no place in any serious diet!

Defianately have the occasional glass tho.
 
I don't think even a can a day will hurt you especially after a workout even though high-fructose corn syrup really isn't as good for spiking insulin after a workout as other simple sugars. A liter a day is probabley over-doing it.
 
spend some time researching the ingredients in soda bro.....for real the dumbest thing anyone can do when the make a lifestyle change is keep drinking soda.....the affects on insulin, metabolism, cancer and the list gos on is more astounding than u would think ......i would rather risk taking 20mg ed of any oral for one whole year than drink one soda ed for one year!!! i dont even get it with MCDONALDS in the rare occasion in eat mcdonalds i get water.....IMHO just dont play with fire....it gets easyer the longer you hold out ...good luck bro! its worth it
 
you know i had not drank a coke in several years.....i would have an occasional swwet tea (i am from the south what do you expect??? lol) but i tried that coke zero and dang.....now unfortunately i drink one a day...or maybe every other day....I have to stop...but they sure are yummie.

My first 6 months lifting and dieting seriously, I had absolutley zero soda. Then I started drinking it and found out that my BF increased only slightly.

If you are bulking, who cares?

Just don't drink it like it's water. You'll be fine.
 
I can count the times ive drunk coke on two hands, i dont see why people get so addicted to the shit, my old man used to drink a liter or so a day as well which i could never understand. my main concern is my teeth, soft drinks or soda' is horrible for cavties
 
I keep my diet in check as much as i can within reason. I dont torture myself. I dont really drink soda but if I do Its clear like sprite. Cola is too syrup-ie and gross for me.
My problem is the cheese. Its the one thing I wont give up. I dont sit and eat a half brick at a time but I do cook with it still. Pepper jack, romano, ect.
 
wth is wrong with cheese!?!? i agree with the coke thing 110% tho. i havent had a whole coke in years, the last time i had a few gulps of my gf's at the movies (just recently, the first sip in years) cause i was about to die it made the feeling worse lmao. that shit is just nasty to me now. i don't even drink the clear ones cause all sodas give me heart burn on top of the nastiness. the only thing that quenches my thirst is water. i'll have a gatorade working out and milk if i don't want water or when i'm making a protein shake.

drink the soda post w/o. it will help. where are the fats in your diet. it seems to me from this post you may be lacking some fundamentals.
 
Omg!.........Have a fricken coke already. One every few days aint gonna hurt you on a bulking diet. Hell when I go on a diet to cut bodyfat I have a cheat meal once a week. Whats going to have more calories? a cheat meal or one can of coke for gods sake?! Have a cup of coke!

exactlly...as far as people drinking one coke a day well...think of the way one a day a supplement any thing you take one a day of is a daily supplement...and i my self prefer to choose better supplements than coke
 
if you spike your insulin post w/o a coke,pepsi,mountain dew or any other regular soda will work just as good as anything else. so will a bag of jelly beans. high gi carbs are not the devil. they are an effective tool in muscle building if you know how to use them. but i do understand your asking about drinking it for the hell of it as a cheat and that isnt really good. just drink 1 a day on training days on your way out of the gym along with some protein and you wont be cheating at all. stick with it for a couple wks and see how it works. im sure you will see the positive results.

try this. 2 cups coke 3 ice cubes 2 scoops of a good tasting vanilla protein powder made in a blender. its bad ass.
 
Coca -Cola is like the worst shit you can put in your body. It's empty sugar calories that make you fat and rot your teeth. I fuckin' LOVE IT.
 
I tell you something crazy...a can of coke has phosphorous in it which has a PH of 3 roughly (vey acidic). So acidic in fact it would take 27 glasses of water with a PH of 7 to neutralize the acidity in that can of coke.
You are having a litre a day and voila, you body becomes more and more acidic as the weeks go by. I suggest you get PH strips and check your PH because studies have shown the more alkaline our bodies are the more effecient we are at building muscle and I highly doubt you get 8 servings of fruit and veggies in a day just to maintain a PH of 6.8 to 7.2 (ideal PH)

Lets not forgot about the 12 Tbsp of sugar, benzene(carcinogenic) and other unfavourables. Diet soda is just as bad if not worse. I suggests limiting the pop you drink and take in a smoothie instead or 100% fruit juice like knudsens....so good.
 
like someone said earlier, if u really need it, drink it post work out. sugars is sugars. Unfortunately horrible sugars. the best post work out liquids are drinks like lemonade, gatorade, etc. Thats me! Anyways if I remember correctly from my days at school, a sports nutrition professor said consume large amounts of liquid with simple sugars like lemonade 30 min. after a workout. Just as important at the post protein. Theres also studies saying BCAA's are more beneficial for a athletes body after exercise than protein. there I go i'm rambling...

If your on a bulking cycle some COCA COLA wont hurt you.
just dont get excessive and drink a gallon in a day.

Ray Mentzer would eat a pack of sliced 99% fat free turkey and a Diet Coke everyday for lunch. I'd ask him what his thoughts were but he's dead now.
 
A cup of coke once a week hell no!! That's not good for me! I'm all about taking care of myself and not putting harmfull substances in my body. Now hand me my syrige so I can slam my 100 mg daily shot of tren!!!

I know were all hyporcrits lol i might was down a few anadrol but the drink wont contain any high fructose corn syrup thats fo sho
 
lol true...but still the fact is soda is very addictive and will become part of your daily routine unlike anadrol lol at least i hope you dont start using anadrol ed all year lol
