Heaviest Mr Olympia
In 1993, Dorian Yates (UK) weighed 116.57 kg (256.76 lb) when he was crowned Mr. Olympia for the second year in succession in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

WHO: Dorian Yates
WHEN: 1993
WHERE: Atlanta, Georgia, USA
WHAT: 116.57 kg
(256.76lb)

haha.. now that is required.

He is/was definitley the original "freak". Whatever he started taking that others weren't, they definitely have followed suit since.

Yates in 93 form will still beat Coleman at Ronnie's best

your forgetting Kovacs, the biggest and strongest bodybuilder ever.

Yes but we are talking about Heaviest Mr Olympia .

Greg will never be mr.Olympia material.

...not a Mr. O contender

btw - he had his oil changed and dropped 50 pounds

Coleman weighs more. I would bet money he can eclipse both Yates and Haney's record.

...nope - Coleman is already 37 or 38 - too old to string 4 more together - Th eO this year was Culter's but he chose not to eneter unpon the advice of Ray

You are drunk.

Coleman will have that Sandow much longer. Take a look at him, nobody even comes close. Cutler almost had him, but when you pick him apart, nothing really stands out. Coleman has the main quality that Haney and Yates had.. his back. Once Ronnie comes down from the size game, he won't be touched.

besides it is good for Weider to have a former cop as Mr. O.

Cutler beat him in EVERY fort pose last year....side shots were equal - ronnie won back shots...if Cutler had not pissed away his posing routine and pose dwon he would have won.....judges score sheets reveal that

btw - Ronnie come DOWN in the size game ??- I don't think he will do that; although I will agree that he should

I doubt Coleman can put 4 more years into the Olympia.

He'll retire before he loses. My O has never been beat.

All Ronnie has to do is just be patient. Continue to dial in to 90% and he will easily win. If he wants, he can grab that shape he had at the Arnold when he won his humvee.

The reason being is that Cutler is an unknown factor right now. Yeah, he looked good last year, but then again, why is he not competing this year? What kind of advice is that? There is still money to be made by competing.

Chris C., Kevin L., and Flex W. are all known to be lazy and not committed to winning. Shawn Ray has all the tools, but he is eternally cursed by his height. If he were in wrestling, he would be the RVD of ECW. Holding the TV title for god knows how long and never being defeated, but then again, never winning the big one.

Ruhl, Dillett, Nasser, Dennis James, and Greg C. will never come within dreaming distance of winning it. So you can forget them.

Titus, Kamali, Bob C., Orvile, Darrem, Prince and the others are just cannon fodder. Unless one of these shows up in incredible mind blowing shape, they will not crack over the 8th position.

HE ALREADY LOST, TO CUTLER, LAST YEAR. BUT WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT THE O NVR BEING BEAT IS CORRECT. WEIDER DOESNT WANT THE O TO BE BEAT. HE WANTS TO GIVE IT TO RONNIE UNTIL HE RETIRES.

THATS WHY CUTLER ISNT ENTERING.

KAYNE

I agree with KAYNE about Jay not entering the O.

I heard he was pissed about losing last year and this is his form of protest. How the fuck do you lose the O by losing the posing round?

RIDICULOUS:xeye:

True, he did win the O before, just like Levrone did it the year prior.

But like Levrone who failed to show up last year in remarkable condition, would Cutler have achieved the same condition as he did last year? Was that a one time peak for him? He doesn't have a track record so far in the big leagues that we can judge him by. If he showed up and got third or lower, he would be labeled as a "FLUKE" and it would forever haunt him until he retires from the sport.

maybe taking this year off and sitting out is good, maybe Ronnie will retire, if he does, then Cutler is the fan favorite to take the Sandow. However, if Ronnie doesn't retire and Jay comes back next year, the big mystery of his condition will hang over him, along with the momentum of whoever takes Ronnie to the wire this year and gets second place.

CUTLER DOESNT NEED TO ENTER THE O WHEN HE CAN WIN THE ARNOLD AND NOC. THATS PRIZE MONEY AND A HUMMER. HE PROBABLY WOULD WIN THEM BOTH SINCE SOME OF THE TOP O COMPETITORS ARENT ENTERING AND HE WAS THE TOP O COMPETITOR.

True, I have yet to understand why high caliber pros do not enter the Arnold and other pro shows. I mean, I would be grabbing all the cash I can. They don't do these, but they will not hesitate to do some lack luster European tour shows.

YEAH, WHY IS IT THAT THEY WILL DO THE GRAND PRIXS BUT THE THE NOC OR THE ARNOLD. I WOULD BE DOING BOTH AS TO WIN THE PRIZE MONEY. SHIT, I'D DO THE ARNOLD JUST FOR THE DAMN HUMMER. AS UGLY AS THAT VEHICLE IS, ITS MY GOAL TO HAVE ONE SOME DAY. HOPEFULLY WITHIN THE NEXT FEW YEARS.

THE O IS A COUPLE HUNDRED GRAND FOR FIRST RIGHT. JAY COULD DO BOTH OF THE OTHER TWO SHOWS TO WIN THAT PRIZE MONEY CUZ HE'S ALMOST GUARANTEED TO WIN THEM BOTH. NOT TO MENTION MORE ACCOMPLISHMENTS UNDER HIS BELT.

Nor true......Samir Bannout was beated by Haney

You guys have forgoteen Art Atwood... top 5 is my prediction for him............. mark my words... and his name will be extremely popular for the next few years........

Art won't make the top 10....beating Markus Ruhl does not impress me into thinking he can crack the top 6 - top 10 maybe with ray and cutler sitting out

I have to go with Zane too.
Dorian Yates is the poster boy for what is wrong with bodybuilding.
Look at that guy!

That is just as sad and disturbing as an anorexic, IMO.

>???? what are you talking about?

Dorian Yates is the poster boy for what is wrong with bodubuilding?

The man mastered size and symetry...bottom line.

Hee hee.. Mark my words..top 5.....unless he gets injured... he is going places..

I think the only thing Yates has mastered is chemistry.
The guy is a sick freak, and most pro's are.

Bodybuilding is a freak show now. The fake tans, the roid guts...it is so gay. There was a good article on the board a few months ago about this very subject. Bodybuilding is dead

Bodybuilding should be about maximizing your bodies natural potential, not turning it into a toxic waste dump.

That, and The Iron by Henry Rollins are both good reads.

I'm not trying to preach to you, it's just those two articles pretty much summarize the way I feel about things.
