Don Youngblood defeats Vince Taylor for the Masters Olympia!!!

he looks 100000 times better than Taylor !!
It doesn't wonder me that he beat vince !
He has exactly the kind of physic I dream of...

keep in mind he did not start training hard till his 30's. he is a true freak and should do the regular mr.o, although he would probably get overlooked,luke
 
yeah when I use to live back in arkansas, I was only 19, don was just coming good into bbing, me and my buddy who use to live in ft. smith, we would go down to ft. smith and hang out with don and chris obana, don was about 265 then, he was still huge, one time we went down and chris and don were spotters for a national powerlifting meet at golds, and we were out in the car blazing a joint, so after the break we went back in and one powerlifter needed help and chris and don were so stoned they totally forgot about the lifter and he nearly dropped the weight!! Pretty funny!!!!!

I find it hard to believe. Does anyone has a pic of Vince Taylor from the same show? Unless he came completely unprepared, I think it's politics.
 
shit what are they gonna do keep giving it to the same guy, they need to give it to youngblood, he has paid his dues, and vince taylor has been in pro bbing for a long time, youngblood deserves to get his win, I know vince taylor is awesome, but its nice to see a smalltime guy win for once, not that I like underdogs, its just good to see don get his props and chances!
 
I have been friends with don for the last 5 years or so and have known him all my life. The dude never even worked out until maybe 10-15 years ago - but he was a natural. Genentics were unbelievable and he worked his ass off.

Last year he should have beat vince but did not have the name. He was going to retired until the last show when he saw he could beat him.

Don deserved everything he has recieved and more.

Chris was probably stoned - but don does not believe in rec drugs - I have been out with him and he does not touch the stuff.

Fuck yeah man, good for him-I'm from his home state and I say he deserved to win last year. I'm not a BB expert, but him and Vince side by side was tough but I think Don looked better. Just goes to show you how much hard work pays (and genetics), Vince is defenitely the more popular of the two which seems to be an advantage in that sport.
 
Does anyone know how old he is? I am guessing about 40-45, but that is still crazy to be that big and in that good enough shape. Just shows whats the right combinations of things can do for you, lifting hard and injecting the right stuff.

Don won and he should have won, he was on the money. He does not believe in getting stoned, and he is 48 years old. He has worked his ass off for this and he deserves it, it's that simple. :)

well Im not saying don is not a natural or got good genetics, but one forgets, one major reason he is at the top is due to the fact that he is like a multi-millionaire, and has sufficient funds to do all the necessary drugs and steps to be at the top.......I mean think about this, if a guy with great genetics could sit around all day eating and training and spending great amounts of money buying drugs then he is gonna make it one day, dont get me wrong he is a business man too, he works hard at a self operated trucking company, but I mean he use to give this one guy I know like $40,000 at a time to go to mexico and buy a fuckin trunk load of juice, literally!!!!!!

Don works his ass off and does very well at work and at the gym. But if you knew anything about the trucking business - especially the last couple of years - you would not assume that he has all of the money in the world to throw around and especially not all of the time in the world to spend at the gym.

Just a lot of hard work and a good wife behind him that helps with his meals.

Wrong! Because they "knew" I posted their pics and they were fine by it. Besides, those pics can easily be found via a search as they are on their own website.

Don is a great guy, I have known for many years and he works his ass off at his work and in the gym. It's truly amazing how much progress he makes year after year. Can't wait to see what he does for the Olympia :)

I don't think Don can be a threat to guys in top 10 of Olympia. The distance is obvious.

Funny thing, I just read same thread on Anabolex and some guy commented on Don being shredded, that Iggy Pop is shredded too..lol..of course, it's silly, but still funny:)

agreed but what you have to understand is, Vince is a more symmetrical bodybuilder with much fuller muscle bellies. Don is a great bodybuilder but lacks those lines so important in the Olympia. i don't think he will finish in the top 10 but i could be wrong.
 
I think Don doesnt even belong on the same stage as Vince, physique wise. Are you guys forgetting that Vince has one of the all time great physiques in the history of bodybuilding? And who will ever rememer Don whatshisname? I mean no disrespect to him or his friends on this board, but a blind man could see that these guys arent even in the same league. When you look at someone, genetics dont count, when and how often they train, how much money they got, none of that matters. I feel bad for Vince, he cant get respect even in the Masters. What a sad joke.
