First time I used tren, it was home brew for 5 weeks with test cyp. I was having one protein shake in the morning and one after training. Even the smell of food made me sick and felt like I would throw up. If I ate real food in the morning I had to choke down a protein shake after training.
It was both weird and amazing. I went from eating 6-7 meals a day with close to 400 grams of protein to eat at most 700-800 calories daily and 100 grams of protein. And didn't lose a damn pound. I even got stronger. Despite training even harder than normal, and still doing my swimming everyday I would have (on paper) withered away without enough calories... but it didn't happen.
