That's when the world didn't exist but banks did and they invested all their money to buy and expand Earth.
I do not accept this answer. There is only 1 God.
That would be a case for "god" because you weren't calling Him by name.
And 'god' with a lowercase 'g' would still need to exist as a word for when you referenced, what you believe to be, other people's fictional gods or in reference to your own, as in:
"My god is the only real god."
As opposed to:
"God (name) says unicorns exist in Psalms," not that your god's name is God anyways.

Ridiculous question, there's only one way to answer, and that is according to your philosophical/spiritual/religious perspective.
1. If you believe in a monotheistic, omnipotent, omniscient singular creator "GOD" that created the universe and all that is in it, then EVERYTHING, good and evil, came from that God, period. Even if there is a Satan that influences humans to perform "evil" that operates outside of the control of God, Satan was still created by God, as was the human that makes the choice to perform good or evil.
2. If you are an atheist, you believe that humans are responsible for their own actions
3. If you are of certain spiritual beliefs, you have a problem with the subjective terms "good" and "evil" in general. It can be murky stuff. There's no denying that something is a negative action, causing harm or pain, but evil starts treading in the whole "intent" arena (just like good).
A cat plays with a mouse for 30 minutes before finally killing and eating it. Is that evil? Or is the cat just honing it's reflexes for the next hunt?
A developer looks at an expanse of undeveloped land that is a natural ecosystem. He envisions a housing development, a shopping center, roads and all the revenue, homes and jobs this can generate, as well as income for him and securing the future of his children. A tree hugger would hear his thoughts and would be horrified.
I could get a lot more extreme, too, but believe me, the witch hunters in Salem really believed they were saving the souls of those people they hung.

Believing in the spiritual is a wonderful way to live. To center my life around the material (when the material does not matter...because it doesn't) makes life pointless. I would try to distract myself in different ways but any attempt I make to try to find meaning I could quickly explain away.
Thinking spiritually isn't something you just start doing...it's something you learn to do. There is nothing illogical or unclear about thinking spiritually, it is simply thinking from another perspective.
And imo there is a God or gods that is/are closely connected with morality but you have to be able to think spiritually to understand the truth about this. If you don't think about it too long, and keep distracting yourself, maybe you won't notice that when a cigar is just a cigar...life sucks. IMO a cigar is not just a cigar, and we were not designed to live that way.
