Doc Just Told Me My Liver Emzymes Are Way Over Norm.

well I think we've all been here before but this past Monday my Medical Doc told me my liver enzymes are 5x's over the normal and get this. The only gear I've been on is Kenalog A MEDICAL GRADE GLUCOSE BASED STEROID that was injected into my spine. I've been taking milk thistle everyday to no a vile . my numbers are :
AST (SGOT) 206 10-40 NORM
ALT (SGOT) 382 10-45 NORM
ALK (SGOT) 470 30-120 NORM
THIS IS BAD I KNOW I DON'T DRINK BUT I DO TAKE A LOT OF MORPHINE FOR PAIN AND TO TELL THE TRUTH I'M SCARED SHIT LESS HELP BROS ANY CLUES??

It may turn out to be nothing.. change up the morphine, that sort of thing, but you can always check with a different doc.. that helps a lot some times..

It may turn out to be nothing.. change up the morphine, that sort of thing, but you can always check with a different doc.. that helps a lot some times..

I see what you meant about renal failure but my kidneys are fine and working great. it's my liver that's whacked the hell out but anyway thanks again for the thoughts. my ultra sound came back but the freaking doc wasn't in and the receptionist couldn't give me the results . so I know somethings really wrong cause she and I are old school friends and she gave me a hint that it looks like FLD (fatty liver disease) or chemical induced hepatitis,which is bad from what I read! As for the Morphine I've been on it for almost 3 years now because of lower back,neck,hip and knee pain from a accident I had back in "95" so as you can see I've gone through a ass load of pain meds the past 15 years to get to the point of having to be on morphine @ 460mg per day along with other meds also.But it's just my luck here I was looking for help to get back the mass I lost and have using gear back in my college days and now I got liver issues ! good grief...................FMT

Those LFTs aren't that high at all, relax. your doctor will take of it.

By the way, LFTs won't tell you anything about your renal function.

Out of curiosity, do you binge drink (>4 drinks on one occasion) or drink >2 drinks per day?
