CT scans?!?

OK, what are we missing from this story?
HEY I'VE PUT IT ALL OUT HERE ON THIS THREAD .IF YOU NEED TO START FROM THE TOP OF THIS THREAD AND CATCH UP BUT LIKE I SAID MORE BLOOD TEST AND A CT SCAN TO SEE WHAT'S WRONG HEY I JUST GOTO THE DOC I DON'T MAKE THE TEST UP.

bring some research materials on R-A.L.A.- and nAcetylCystiene to your doc and have him give you clearence to start taking them in the meantime while they decide what to do.

the rA.L.A. has lots of studies showing it protects the liver from damage and also helps it regenerate.

the NAC will help raise/restore glutathione levels in the liver. (related, are you taking hi doses of acetaminophin for pain by any chance?)

these are used theraputically by alternative docs as well as some mainstream docs (and knowledgable juicers lol) so he should have no problem with you starting these. in fact , they should have put you on them when they started with the drugs.

like chicken soup, "it kant hoyt", but get his OK first

Well to respond to your post ;DIET. I've always have eaten a clean diet without much sugar at all and always high in protein to help me keep what little mass I haven't lost. Most of the time I eat fish chicken and lean beef lots of veggies. My family history has a lot of issues like Hypo tension and Diabetics so I keep my diet in check knowing food can be my friend or downfall.MY LIVER ISSUES: I got my ultrasound results back and no fatty liver disease and , the report said it looks to be in "unremarkable" condition. But my blood test LPT'S numbers are still high as hell. Even my Bun is high. As for the pain Mgt issue ,thats why I'm about to undergo the ACL reconstruction and medial tendons replacement to enable me to goto rehab and get clean from all theses meds. After this long on morphine I have no other options. AND ONCE AGAIN I HAVEN'T HAD ANY KINDA OF A DRINK IN YEARS!

That could reflect a high protein diet or dehydration................

I would think it is the meds hun, I would also recommend you don't stress to much, as it is not going to help the situation.

Your liver enzymes may have been at higher levels NORMALLY before you stressed your liver a bit with the drugs.

I asked about paracetamol as well, if you are taking various combos of OTC pain killers, a lot can have paracetamol/acetaminophen in them, and these are KNOWN to be very toxic to the liver, which is why they stress 'don't take any other products containing paracetamol.

Have you recently had a cold where you took something like Lemsip or any other cold/flu tablets in addition to paracetamol?

It is called both here, at least in the medical field.

Also Aspirin = Salicylate or Salicylic acid (which is similar chemically to ibuprofen)

Your thingy says Italy?

I'm Italian, but I was born here in the US and live here. Maybe one day I'll go live on a mountain in the old country lol

Your not, by chance seeing a dermatologist to be treated for skin warts? If so, some of the meds have been known to screw up the liver enzyme numbers.
