I got chlamydia in college from an asshole boyfriend that cheated on me. How did I know he cheated? Unless aliens abducted me in the middle of the night I knew where MY GENITALIA was at all times. All of the sudden I started showing symptoms. Went to the doc. When he gave the diagnosis I was so shocked I said, "But I haven't been with anyone other than my boyfriend. How could I have an STD?!"
DUH - It was because HE had trouble keeping HIS GENITALIA to himself... or maybe the aliens had abducted him. LOL You should have seen the "deer in headlights" expression on his face when he was told.
Had I not had symptoms and went to the doc for treatment I would have eventually become sterile thus robbing me of the ability to have children later on.
Yes, I was REALLY REALLY STUPID. After I got that little wake-up call, condoms became not-so-daunting anymore.
