on the flipside, if youre using insulin to shuttle all of the nutrients out of your blood, and simultaneously using dnp - dinitrophenol - to burn everything up, then youre running the risk of not having enough available fuel, which would mean...collapse. organ shutdown. unfun stuff like that

obviously you would want to take measures to prevent a lack of fuel from occuring. as noted you would physically have to RUN OUT of adipose tissue on te human body in order for this to happen.
