Devin and I got home yesterday!

Hi everyone! Devin and I are finally home!

My water broke on August 30th but I did not start any conractions and I was not dialated. The baby's head got lodged against a bone in my pelvis and put him in distress. When I got to the hospital his heart rate was too low and they took me straight to surgery. He got here at 11:03 and was 7 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches (Dr. had overestimated his size in ultrasound estimates).

We are both happy and healthy. :elephant:

He is absolutely beautiful and perfect. He has hair my color, blue eyes, and little round cheeks. He couldn't be any cuter.

When I get a chance, I will post so many pics that you will be sick of me...LOL.

I've never been happier in my entire life. :heart:
 
Congratsweets! Devin is a pimp name too...can't wait for him to start posting on EF when I'm old and grumpy like mr db :)

he is a nice size! get some sleep whenever you can- don't get sucked into posting here when you can nap- the first few weeks are mind boggling hard. just keep it in mind that they are hard for EVERY mom- you aren't alone.

im glad everything went well.

i hope nobody beat me to it, but time to lose the weight. luckily you have a 7 pound 3oz head start :P

Congrats hun. I am glad that everything came out ok.
I cannot wait to see some pics of him.
I was almost on target of birth I said 7 4 I think.Lol
