Depression while on?

I didn't think I was ever supposed to be depressed while on cycle?I'm on 400mg deca and 1 gram week sust.I'm running up on all the classic symptoms of depression.tired all the time, sleep too much, don't sleep enough.Lost interest in things I used to like.Bored alot.I feel like nothing matters anymore.everything is just a temp fix to permenant problems.

All this started when my girlfriend left me 6 weeks back.I thought I was over the worst of it but my mental state has changed for the worse.Depressed,Angry,Tired.Are steroids making this worse?I've never been in this situation before. Will this become worse when i step down to nolvadex and clomid therapy when i discontinue my current cycle?

I need some help here brothers.

Thanx

Bro, I totally feel for you. I am a manic depresseive mess at the best of times. I'm getting help for it asap though - again. As to gear making it worse, I doubt it to be honest. For me, it's been a lifetime problem and gear actually helped a bit - the first time around anyway. This time I was depressed as hell while on and am no better now that I'm off. PM me if you have any questions or just want to talk.

Depression and fatique are often mixed up/confused while cycling. Being tired and sluggish all the time does make one seem depressed. Anxiety added on top of this makes it worse. Just try to get in the right mind set. Realize that you're not gonna feel like this forever, and you'll have the results of your cycle to be excited about in the future.

If you're depressed/torn-up over your girlfriend leaving now, just wait until you start clomid! Now that's gonna be a real bitch!:bawling:

Alien is right, I was depressed too but when you hit the clomid its hell. But it all depends on how you handle it. Consider St Johns Wort an option, its an otc herb anti-depressant that works wonders, and has helped for me. As for what Nathan said, I disagree because the hormonal changes in your body are directly linked with your moods and depressive swings.

I seriously don't think that gear has as deep an impact on mental status as some think. Like roid rage for example is bullshit if you ask me. Gear indirectly makes you feel very different, but for the most part, I would say, it makes one feel better mood-wise or else if it made everyone depressed as shit then who the fuck would touch the stuff? It sounds to me like changes in powerlifter's life are affecting him quite a bit. My moods never changed a bit on previous cycles, but this time I totaly crashed mentally and I have used all the gear in this cycle before and had no problems. I think it plays a small part - but that is not to say the hormones in general aren't the culprits.

This all has to do with the user and what is being used. I have bad aggression/temper naturally, so when I am juicing it makes it a little worse. Others claim they stay the same or even become less tempermental. As for roid rage, it happens to a certain extent. People just have to be mentally capable of dealing with it. Try halo and you'll see some roid rage. In conclusion, roids affect everyone differently. It may make some more relaxed, and some more agressive. May cause anxiety in some, calmness in others. But I also agree that some people will exaggerate/blame their moods on juice.

Okay, I agree then. For me, the gear I've tried hasn't impacted my moods too much, and I could be wrong, but I don't think it's the gear for powerlifdting either, mainly because of the breaking up with his gf.

Ive been going thru a divorce the last few months and have had all kinds of anxiety, weepy moods...i noticed a distinct difference in my moods when I began Liquidex.

marky, better moods? less weepiness because of lower estrogen? I quit my cycle due to anxiety and was trying to get my gf back and lost it again because of clomid, I am done with everything except for var primo and winny and no clomid again for me. I am on femara 2.5 mg ED right now hopefully I will feel better soon!

No importance, but just related: I started clomid. I didn't get all sentimental and crying like some people do, but I did start thinking about my ex-fiance. I hate that bitch and haven't spoken to her in about a year. Well I started all the sudden, due to clomid, missing her, and my bad luck she talks to me (via instant messenger) the other day! It sounded like she wants me again. WTF? Now I'm all tore up again! I hate clomid!

Marky, sorry to hear about your divorce bro.
