Depressed I cant train

I am nowhere near you caliber I have been on just about all the great fix meds for depression. I take a few 5htp and St john’s wart and push thru it. Everyone is different.

Try some of these herbs, they should help with depression, no need to use drugs for it:

Licorice
St. John's wort
Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba)
Siberian ginseng
Balm
Basil
Black Hellebore
Borage
Clove
Damiana
Fo-ti-tieng
Ginger
Kava kava
Oat straw
Purslane
Rosemary
Sage
Thyme
 
here are some mixes for you.

Antidepressant Tincture

1 teaspoon tincture of Saint-John's-wort leaf
½ teaspoon tinctures of licorice root, ginseng root, lemon balm leaf and ashwaganda leaf (if available)

Combine ingredients (if you do not or cannot drink alcohol, buy glycerites instead of tinctures). Take 1 dropperful 3 times a day.


Clove Tea

Crush cloves and add to sage, camomile or peppermint tea and a dash of ginseng powder to lift mild depression.


my favorite:
Kava Blend

Mix equal parts of kava, lemon balm, valerian root and St. John's wort. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1 tsp. of herb mix. Drink 1 cup three times daily, one hour after meals.

where can you get these? chinatown, organic food store, or online. I would suggest chinatown.
 
I know where you are coming from Outlaw. My first cycle was Var and winny for 6 weeks :rolleyes: and the strength gains mainly from the Var were unbelievable. When I came off I couldn't accept the fact that my lifts were going down, now I know they will.

Seeing as your last cycle was junk as I remember, it should be soon you should be able to start again. That's if YOU are ready. Good luck.
 
I was worried about the crash coming of my 2nd cycle, which was 12 weeks long last summer.

My last shot from that cycle was 8/28. My next cycle started 12/13, allowing for time on/time off.

The time off period sucked, but not as bad as I was expecting. I lost 4-6 pounds, and there was also subtle but noticable reduction in muscle mass, but my strength somehow remained. Then after about 3 weeks, libido and mood came back into normal range.

It sounds like a more aggressive PCT (and Mr X's ideas for fighting depression/elevating mood) might help.

Everyone want to start right back up again - If feels good to be on for sure - but if you wait, continue to eat and train smart, then in the long run you will make better gains.

Might want to lower the volume big guy...i know how hard it is to do that when we are used to pushing some seriouse weight in the gym...but once your off, you have to be realistic...maybe your pusing to hard to maintain that your wearing yourself out...

I don't think is so much what you take when "off" , I think it has a lot more to do with the pychological factors that you get drepressed out. On cycle your so fired up with every notion of eating those weights. But once that feeling starts to deplete and recoop time is extended its like back to square one to get your own ass motivated. Now that you don't have an extreme enhancer you really have to kick yourself in the ass everyday to eat right and go into the gym and can see it getting depressing not having the same gains or same results with the work you already put in. Its like doing a job at work and getting paid $25 an hour to do it during the winter but in the spring you only get $15 hours for the same work. SUX!! But do you not work the whole spring because you got paid less. Or do you keep busting your ass and still save up that money with whatever little gains you have? You keep busting your ass! cuz you know that 4 months X $15 hr will still yeild great results then when summer comes along you get bumped back up to $25 hr. Now your back on cycle and your the happiest person in the world, not just cuz you are making more money (gaining more muscle and enthusiasm) but also because you still busted your ass without it and now your even further ahead than you were before. Just thought of that analogy. Hope you "get" it LOL.
