Depressed I cant train

It sucks being "off". It's fucking depressing me that I cant train the way I used to. I just want to go in and lift hard and feel the adrenaline flow. Now it takes me so long to recover from the previous workout, that I can barely train 2-3times a week. How do you guys that come off deal with this? Or do you just wait to go back on cycle?

I've heard the NO is hit or miss with most people. So not sure I want to take a chance on it. But my main problem is recovery time. My energy is fine, naturally Im not as pumped, but it takes me twice as long to recover from a workout.

Just never go off longer than 4 weeks. That way by the time you start to crash the new gear kicks in. Healthy? Probably not. Then again neither is depression-which can lead to a host of health problems as well.

Ignore my advice on this topic. I'm the wrong guy to ask.

yeah i hear ya bro, as for the NO i too have heard its hit and miss but i figured i would try and i was pleasently surprised by it.....as for the recovery maybe up the protein some more and just sleep longer if possible..other then that im not sure what else ya can try...goodluck man

recovering ive learner has to do the most with these three things...

getting 8 hours of good sleep everyight

eating well

limiting sets from 4-5 to 3-4 for arms and lowering 5-6 to 4-5 for chest back and shoulders

l-glutamine supplementation is wayyyy cheaper then bsn and all that other shit and is alll u need to help with recovery

I always just bite the bullet and drop the volume way down. I can usually do 2 or 3 heavy work sets, but thats about it. I usually keep most of my strength that way, but I do have to cut back to training every other day if I go heavy while off. I always alternate between training for strength/power and size, whether on or off, so I'm already used to the psychological feeling of lowering the weight from time to time...
