I've congradulated the gettostud and sent the relative karma; just felt like I was doing him more of a favour letting him know he's stil got a long way to go rather than jumping on the bandwagon. the man set a PR.. i dont care who you are at some point in your life 225 was a PR...

you maqy have given karma to ghetto but none of your poosts on this thread seemed liked you were congratulating him at all..

As far as my lifts if you read it says "working on" ive also posted video of me benching 500..ive been higher and i havent even hit my max yet..my dead sucks right now but im fixing it..and my squat is my best lift 800 will fall relatively soon..ill make sure to get you some video
 
Ok you guys. That's enough bickering. It's all good.

musketeer, my head isn't too big with the deadlift. To be honest I didn't even want to max then, but the damn powerlifters started giving me shit about my workouts and my 5x5 routine and basically challenged me like I was weak or something so I pulled the 405. One of the guys told me he didn't think I was gonna get it until it went up nice. I know what you mean though. I'm not even that psyched about it really because I know it's just a stepping stone to a higher weight. I know a year from today I'll pull 500 or more so the 405 is just cool, but I'm not elated about it.

It'll be the same when I bench 315. I'll be happy, but I'll be looking forward to 405 and then my ultimate goal of 500 raw.

My first post was out of character and I hoped that I had rectified it with the second, where I explained honestly how much my first 405 dl made me feel.

I'll do a search for your bench video, w2bb. I'll bet its worth me seeing it. My bench sucks...

GhettoStudMuffin, it looks like the 2x per week variation of the intensity phase of the madcow program really agrees with you. It's great to hit a pr like you have when the situation lets you think about making the lift rather than being scared of the weight. You then step back and realise you've blown your old pr into the weeds.
