dbol and running...?

ok lets say that i have dbol sitting around but I am no longer lifting... but rather am training for a marathon...

so assume that I am running about 6 or 8 miles a day but not lifting...

should I take the dbol...? will this be effective in strengthening my legs during running or will it be a complete waste?

I don't think it will increase endurance, but I think it definitely strengthen your legs and calves giving you more power.
 
lower back pain

watch out for that lower back pain though. I know while on dbol i got some terrible lower back pain especially when i was running. After one game of basketball i had to stretch for at least 10-15 min just to try and relieve a little of the pain.

based on your scenario,i would say wait until you start lifting to MAXIMIZE dbol's benefits...i don't see how dbol and long distance running can be beneficial...BIG WASTE in my book.:fro:
 
I can't even walk on dbol without the calves blowing up like ballons. Bending over pumps my lower back to the point of paralysis. The last thing I want to do is run let alone run a marathon, but I would suspect the added weight and pump volume would complicate the situation.
 
my only thought is that running this much will be very rough on the legs... won't the running workouts and the dbol build some crazy leg muscles...?
 
oh yes... and the marathon is about 5 months away... so the dbol would only be used for a month or two to build up during training....
 
The muscle fibers used for running extended slower paces(marathon running) are not responsible for hypertrophy. They get more efficient at using oxygen instead of increasing in size. Slow oxidative type 1 fibers get most of thier energy from fat which requires oxygen. Thus the increased breathing rate as the duration of the run goes on. They don't grow, or they don't grow big. So dbol and running long distances won't increase muscle size. If anything the catabolic actions of such arduous running as marathon runing will degrade muscle tissue even in the presence of a powerfull androgen like dbol. Bottom line is no matter what you do; this much runing will reak havok on type 2 muscle fibers...The ones responsible for size.
