Denver looks to be getting the brunt of the storm. The mountains didnt look too bad.

16-26" for the metro area and I think that is a conservative estimate. Some places have 20" already and the storm is getting worse.

I lied, 10-20 in the mountains too. That is for shit if you can't get there.

New storm heading in for the weekend too.

I guess I should have started my Christmas shopping earlier.

Hey Tboy how are things looking in your part of Denver?

My dogs legs are buried when they venture out back and some of the drifts are starting to work over the hoods of the cars on the street. Over a foot when I opened my garage door and it is on the leeward side of the house.

The wind is picking up here too.

This would have been an insignificant snowfall in the 70's.

I've got a little more than a foot here....maybe 15" or so.

My four fountians by the front door are still plugging away.

Thanks for making me look. My sausages were starting to burn.

This is a big storm for these days. Growing up we had a condo in Eagle Vail and ski trips we would wake up just buried in snow, shovel our way out and hit the slopes. The downstairs hot tub was a nice respite at the end of the day. Wish we would have kept it. I would be living there now.

DIA is closed at least through tomorrow evening... It's not gonna happen.

No it isn't. But this is a good chance to get some vouchers and comps.

My buddy is out there right now, worked all day and has to stay through the night and tomorrow at least. He says they are having a lot of trouble clearing snow because of the high winds blowing it right back.

I would call them before your flight, and call a hotel nearby to make a res, just in case. Probably won't get one but try.

And I'd move right in......
