I don't think that the nuke thing will happen with China...
I license to a company that does all of it's mfg. in China and we have discussed this at length. The Taiwan issue is the only one that they can see really causing a problem. We are China's biggest customer - if nothing else our economic hold over them should keep them from doing anything other than making a bunch of noise.
