Cardio Question

Shobe said:
I thought doing cardio and lifting on the same day was bad to do? And also, how long should I wait til I eat after doing cardio??

Alot of people (me included) don't think that cardio after lifting is a good idea since your running on a empty tank thus it becomes counter productive.

I don't see your question as being rediculious. If you are putting priority on cardio so much so that muscle is a non issue , then do cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach

Also if you are now unconcerned about muscle , then why drink whey shakes??
Stick with protein from foods so that you can drop the calories more in a cutting situation

if you are must trying to build muscle maybe.
but you are trying to get cut. So it should be not prob. just be sure to do your lifting 1st and cardio 2nd.

Listen....if you want to get shreedded, post your diet. This game is 90% diet.....you can't ditch the iron......ditch cardio before you ditch iron....muscle burns cals at rest, cardio does, but only for a brief period...the more muscle, the higher the metabolism....are u following me? But, I'll bet 500-1, that you diet needs severe repairs....

Well I don't know. Basically there are people like pintoca's brother and me when they were younger who could eat anything and still remain at low bodyfat. Not to mention low bodyfat due to playeing 3 sports and had anywhere between and 2 and 6 track events. Cadio can make up for a bad diet. I am speaking from experience.

But jkurz1 knows about diet, aside from practicing it.

cardio on an empty stomach is the best way to do cardio..... that way your body goes in to fat burning mode instead of burning up sugars.

Make fun of his name all you want, he's 100% on the money.

It depends on goals. As I was saying in another thread, How much do you think Allan Iverson squats. I'll tell you. The answer is next to nothing. But how many of you can run a 4 minute mile? He doesn't even like to lift weights. He takes abuse going to the rack and still scores, and 1...

You 2 are ignoring goals. So saying that giving up weights is stupid is a prejudgement at least
