Cardio Question

Guys, I'm going to quit lifting all together for like 2 months and just do cardio 3 times a week. I want to get rid of this excess fat on my stomach and chest, then begin lifting again. My question is, should I continue to follow my diet I'm on now and take a whey shake after running each time?? And also, should I run on a empty stomach or eat first?

This is really a question for the cardio board. Ask it there and I'll give you a good answer, promise.

Well your mind may be set. but you should keep lifting because keeping muscle on your body takes energy. and increases your matabilism. and dieting you will lose some muscle. what diet are you on now??
cardio and lifting will get you the best results.. then start adding back in the calories to add mass..

What if I did something like this:

Day 1-Tri's & Chest
Day 2- Cardio
Day 3- Bi's & Back
Day 4- Shoulders/Traps
Day 5-Cardio & Legs
Day 6-Off

I would just do cardio every day except legs either in the morning on an empty stomach or right after you finish lifting.

I thought doing cardio and lifting on the same day was bad to do? And also, how long should I wait til I eat after doing cardio??
