Some thoughts

1) People who are in cardiovascular shape sweat more often and faster
2) People who aren't sweating when they should be are dehydrated

A message to all - SWEATING IS MANY TIME HEREDITARY...........SOME SWEAT MORE THAN OTHERS....JUST THE NATURE OF THE BEAST! please don't judge your w/o by the amount of water on the floor............cmon.

Agree, but it's a bit frustrating not to sweat while the ugly fat ass chick next to you loses 1 liter of sweat ;)

and i used to sweat profusely on the eliptical. don't agree with jkurz there, that machine is my baby
 
Contradictions do not exist. One of your premises is incorrect.

I suspect it is that you are not working hard enough on your elyptical. Go to the treadmill, set it to 8 MPH and stay on it for about 6 minutes and see if you sweat then.

Switch machines. Your body has adapted to the exercise and needs a new form of stimulation. You need to change the mode of cardio often to prohibit the body from gettting used to it.

The fact the you USED to sweat, and NOW don't means that your body has become more efficient at this exercise. You used to sweat because the body was not used to the demand put on it. After time, it learns how to adapt and can do the same work with less effort. You will no longer get the results out of it because it is no longer suprised by the stimulation.

it's like lifitng weights. When you first started lifting, maybe 5lbs was hard. So you kept doing it, and finally it 5lbs was easy. So you increased the weight Now your body has to adapt to the new challenge. You wouldn't STAY at those 5lb weights forever would you?

thanks, i think she's hit the nail on the heas guys. now, that means i should really consider spinning classes eh?
 
Yeah, spining rocks. Try to budget for clip shoes ifyou can and get there early so you can

1) can a bike near the fan
2) have time to adjust the bike
