Wow. I just finished reading several threads on this supposed "miracle" supplement. Ive seen my share of scams and the suckers that got taken by them, but this one is special. Ok, let me get this straight. You guys order some smelly plant extract home-bottled by some guy in Costa Rica, a third world banana country, and listen to some half-assed "testimonials" and you call yourselves educated juicers? Arent you concerned that this stuff is a bit overhyped, not to mention possibly dangerous? Oh thats right, some ancient Costa Rican "strongman" used it, ok, good enough, where do I send my hard earned cash? Oh yeah, it smells and tastes like liquid cow manure, but hey why not consume it anyway? After all, some guy on three different steroids took some and swears it made a huge difference. I guess what P.T. Barnum said still holds true "no one ever lost money overestimating the intelligence of the American public". And that "LLoyd" character isnt losing any money underestimating the intelligence of the bodybuilding community either. Shit, at least Muscletech is a legit company with full ingridient disclosure and quality control. But hey, its your health, your bodies and your money, I guess its your choice. My advice is, use your head for a change. Regards,
Anthony.

Yeah... it's for real dude. It doesn't taste and smell like cow manure...

My advice for you, would be to once again... do some research...

Hmmmm... So sue me!!

I see your point of view but in this case I believe the concern is overwroght.

There are hundreds of herbs and plant extract that are commercially available yet virtually untested.

And unlike compounds like insulin or T3 which have a known potential for serious side effects, Carao happens to be something that has been used by children for years with no ill effects.

Is there POSSIBLY a risk? Absolutely. But bodybuilers are an adventurous breed. And those that are smart will be judicious in the application and follow up with blood tests. This will hopefully provide some valuable information that will not and can not be provided by traditional health practicioners.

Somebody has to be a pioneer. And this group of bros fit the bill. Hell, back in the late 80's guys were swallowing desicated bull testicles in the hope that it might help grow muscle. In the 60's it was raw eggs. Today, people take 1-AD and Myostatin, and Methoxy -- all of which are extremely uncertain in terms of long range health risks. I'd rather trust a farmer in Costa Rico than a supplement manufacturer any day.
And by the way...so far, results look good. But I'll keep a dose of scepticism on hand until all the reports are in.

Carao

It's not a scam.....I've already spoken to Lloyd and Sofa George about posting some blood test results from my mother....she's not a bodybuilder but doe to 3-4 stomach surgeries, suffers from pretty chronic anemia, and has made a difference in the way she feels and looks/acts......traditional iron supps didn't seem to do that much for her except be hard on her system. Since starting Carao the week of thanksgiving, she's dropped her iron intake and doesn't notice any decline in the way she feels etc. She's due for another blood test in about 7-10days after that i'll post the b4 and after numbers. Not expecting anything dramatic but i will be very suprised if there is no diff.....i realize it isn't the treatment everyone should pursue for this condition and this certainly shouldn't be taken for medical advice, but it is doing something positive for her and believe me,once she smelled the stuff it was NOT easy to get her to try it. As for the taste,I really don't think the taste is that bad,it reminds me of diabetic chocolate syrup i once tasted,,,the smell however leaves something to be desired :mix: .

Zeeman,

hardbodylawyer isn't a legit poster. He's a cyberstalker that used to use the handle finajack. He got banned a few months ago after he had sort of a dramatic meltdown. (Look at his profile. He can't even spell lawyer correctly in his email address.) He shows up every now and then to rant a bit and take out his frustrations.

He's particularly obsessed with me ever since someone put "I'm SofaGeorge's ass monkey" into his signature line... and he kept it there for about a week without noticing it. :D
