It doesn't matter how old he is, the fact is that he was flaming the hell out of me when he's really a teenage pussy. When you were a teenager did you laugh at the big guys at the gym that were lifting twice the weight you were? I was handling the 60's when I was a sophomore in high school. (and squatting 300+)

ALSO, I can't believe you would attack someone's post that, it appears, is encouraging another member not to give up a healthy lifestyle. He posts his own experiences as a way to motivate someone else. And it looks like he's made a lot of great progress. It doesn't matter how strong you are nearly as much as how far you've come.

So you're stronger fatter than him. Good for you. Maybe you can enter the next Special Olympics powerlifting meet. Just remember that everyone there is a winner.

i remember looking at canadian's stats a while ago. some weird numbers. i didnt believe they were real.
 
Oak seems like a good kid, I just wish he would have waited to juice, there is no way he was even close to maxing out his natural potential.

Well I'm gonna have to agree. 60lb db presses for "roughly" 6 reps after 3 years of training is pretty pathetic. I was naturally pressing 100lb db's on the incline for 10-12 reps after 2 years of natural training. But then again he's quite young if I remember correctly.

Just because he's not a powerlifter doesn't mean he's not a decent enough kid.
Just because he hasn't gone from 20 lb dumbbells to 300 lb dumbbells doesn't mean he isn't working his ass off in the gym.

You seriously need to grow up. If you have a problem with him in a thread, you need to deal with it there and not go running around the playground talking shit about him behind his back. Pussy.

Why is oak flaming plifter's lifting achievments when plifter can lift more than canadian oak?
 
I think what they're saying is because plifter is considerably older (probably twice the age), and has several cycles behind him, he can't really flame Oak. Also, most of plifter's threads regarding his strength accomplishments are cocky by nature, whereas the Oak's post at hand is encouraging. He didn't seem to be bragging about his feats, just showing that hardwork and determination will lead to results.

That's progress? Oak isn't THAT young either. He said once that he was 19 I believe. For god's sake going from 20's to 60's for a beginning lifter could be done in less than a year (probably 6-8 months) On top of that, he's JUICED!!!!

BTW I'm not comparing myself to others to determine if they are worthy of my respect. If that had been a post from someone that's never bothered me before I wouldn't have even mentioned it. If you're going to bash someone else's accomplishments you should bash someone that below your own level, not someone who's accomplished a lot more.

I am 165, dont use gear, and I put them suckas up for 8 the other day.

And that was on the decline.
 
my opinion on the matter.

Canadian Oak seems like a good enough person. We've talked once or twice on a couple of threads and doesn't seem like the type to start randomly attacking someone.

plifter seems exactly like this type. If they had a dispute it should have been settled on the thread that it started on.
 
i hope this will try to put things in perspective...going from 20s to 60s in a matter of three years is an 80lb increase in bench. nothing to scoff at. it's all about where you started and where you are now...
 
also balls of steel...out of the three bench pressing movements incline, flat, and decline, realize that decline is the easiest. you have less distance to go and most people have a thicker lower chest than upper chest. if you were going to brag about your reps on bench i would've thrown incline in there to make a point as opposed to decline.

I don't even understand how you can even compare different people's DB presses when you don't see their technique or the type of physique the lifting has resulted in. When I was 160 (way before juice) I could DB press the 130's for reps. Now I am alot bigger, but sometimes just use the 70's, getting a very full stretch and pressing up in almost a flying motion. Yeah it sounds badass on the internet if I say "man, I use the 170lb dumbells for presses, blah, blah" but I'll stick with what works.

I also hate it when some moron thinks they are badass for using the heavy DBs and drops them at the end of their set.

My wife weighs 124 and she can hit the 60's for at least 10 reps on the incline. She can get four reps with the 70's if I spot her. No offense plifter but she appears to have more muscle than you do in the pics that you posted.:p

For me, declines are harder. I can do more on the flat. Add in the fact that no one spots me (on the decline) and I do 3 sets of flys before I start.

I havent used creatine yet either.

Im also good looking and got a 1230 on my SAT and I used to be whity ford.

im gonna lay it donw i know im weak,i dont claim to be strong,im trying to get big,i gained about 40lbs in the first yr and lost some bodyfat,i stayed at that weight and strength for the enxt two years no matter what i ate and how much i changed my routine,so i turned to juice and now my strength is up big time,in 5 weeks ive added over 20lbs to my db press,which is progress,i try to be nice to people who respect me and dont pull the tough guy bullshit with me,this is my last post on here till pllifter can prove me right or wrong

Granny used to put up the 60's for only 4 reps. Then I put her on some cattle steroids, to make her grow. All her lifts went way up, and the gyno, it made her tits bigger. Lifting 115lbs for 6 reps doesn't say jack.. You can weight 250lbs and lift 115lb dumbells and I wouldn't be impressed. Or you can weight 150lbs and lift 70lb dumbbells and I'd be very impressed.

It's all about percentage to bodyweight.

OAK, ive seen your picks, and especially at 17 you have no biz with steriods. im only 22, but ive been fukin with weights since i was 4-5 years old, my dad was a big time power lifter in california in the late 70's-early 80's. my point is, you cant even do any serious lifting till your maybe 18. Then eat right, train hard for a couple years, then if your still serious, hit some steriods. at 17, im sure you know you havent hit your genetic potential.
You know you juice to make up for shitty training, lack of motivation, and a bad diet. Your looking to get big quick, and it dont work that way. in my opinion, youve gone down the wrong road.
 
thats not it man,when i was stuck i tried upping my diet to the point i was eating every hour and a half,even if it was a protein bar,i still didnt grow not even fat,i have good motivation and i feel i train good but i dont gain strength easy,its a choice i made and i dont want to get huge,ill be happy around 230 or so,ive researched a.s more then anybody my age i assure you
