Can someone help me out with this question about the 5x5 and plateauing?

I was incorporating the 5X5 into my flat bench routine for a while to get back my strength after the back injury. It worked well. But now Ive been switching back to my old free-for-all style of training and getting some good results. I may switch to the 5x5 every now and then when I reach a plateau. Im still training chest twice a week. Thursdays are flat bench and some extras, and sunday is inclines and speed bench plus some extras. Everything else is once a week, except for biceps which often get hit 2X a week. Once with back where the main focus is hammer curls and another time with triceps. Im no expert on the 5X5 though, and never even made it to the 5X3 stage, I ended it before then. Keep KILLING that shit brother!!
