Can GH change bone structure?

53?

i have done a lot of research on GH, and since you are 53 i would like to know if you feel some of these effects from the GH, increased libido, lean muscle mass, younger, increased hair growth, some say it is the fountain of youth

Some of the proven benefits of GH supplementation are:
smoothing of wrinkles and improvement in skin elasticity
Strengthening of the bones and connective tissue
growth of new muscle fiber
dramatic reductions of body fat over the long term
mood elevation (GH is being used to treat depression in the aged already)
powerful enhancer of the immune system

I emphasize, however, that these are results from longterm use. One kit or two won't do the job, which makes this an expensive undertaking.
Older folks generally see much better results on lighter doses than do young people.

CNRT.....to specifically answer your question.......No, never seen this occur personally or to another in 30 years of training. In fact, I have to chuckle because these supposed jaw and forehead problems, and the mythical "GH gut" were blamed on steroid use back in the 70's when widespread access to synthetic tesosterone, dbol, and anadrol first became available. Then it was called "steroid gut"......Lee Haney's physique was criticized for it, and Ferigno's forehead was blamed on steroids.
So far, the best science available still states that acromeglia is a disease...probably genetic....that is not caused by the injection of exogenous GH. Normal folks who do not have the disease possess a triple loop feedback defense mechanism that allows the body to neutalize the effects of excess HGH. In fact, those of us who use GH for extended periods spend a lot of time and effort trying to overcome some of these bodily defenses so as to get the best results from our doses. (supplementation with insulin, insulin growth factors, T3, etc.)
I've personally used GH for many years, and the only effects I can report are good.......I'm bigger, leaner, and feel better than I should at age 53. Again, though, moderation in all things is usually a smart policy.
Yes,I also believe it's mostly just a myth. Also with steroids and GH the cheeks may swell( a la Tom Platz)and some may think this is actually a change in bone structure when it's just bloat and facial muscle 'growth'.

will have to disagree..

gh DOES cause bone growth.. and the effects are noticable in the "pros".. VERY NOTICABLE in some of them.. one of the best ways is to look at some of the earlier carreer pics v. the late carreer pics.. there are noticable changes in the bone structure..

I can only go with personal experience and the limited research available. Recent studies by Yarashevski, Ney et. al. found increases in bone density, but not in length. They also found thickening of connective tissue, which could cause some change in appearence, I suppose......but generally that is good for older guys like me.......I don't get tendonitis or "pulls" anymore like I used to, and can lift heavy again.
Really, a lot of this is speculation because there is a real parcity of research in the area of GH usage by weight trainee's. The medical research community has focused on GH deficient individuals, and not on normal people.......let alone professional athletes using steroids and other physique enhancing substances. ( I found one abstract a while back that sounded like it was on the mark....till I located the full report. The abstract said that weight lifters using steroids were given IGF and GH......turns out the guy had only 10 test subjects and administered GH for TWO WEEKS.....gee, what a shock....he found nothing.)
I've used as much as 12iu ED for 16 weeks and I'm still pretty....

Would you mind mentioning some of the ones who have
obvious GH deformities?I'm not doubting you but I would like
to see myself how these GH sides look like.
Also do you think androgens could cause skeletal changes in
women? Some experts have said this is impossible but references
are often made to 'square jaw' syndrome etc.Maybe it's just
changes to the facial muscles and skin, not the bone structure.

One other thing while I'm at it.Can thyroid or some other drugs
cause sort of bulging eyes???I think I read somewhere about
thyroid affecting the eyes and I have noticed that some pros
have on eye that is sort of bulging out.

I'm with ironmaster on this one! If you want to think about it, increased muscle mass rather if it is from gh, insulin, or steriods WILL increase bone structure/growth. The body has to adapt in some way to carry the extra mass. Most growth indirectly occurs when taking gh or anything else. It is just part of getting big. You may ask yourself, "well it hasnt happened to me??". The point is these guys get up to 300++ pounds in the off season and not fat. That is a large man if you ask me!!!!! Something has to keep him standing upright.

Ironmaster said it M0DERATION IS KEY" low doses and long term will prove beneficial!!!

Macro and i agree.... GH can with ABUSE (ie: 18ius a day) lol cause bones to grow... there is evidence of overgrowth of the hands, feet, jaw, separation of the teeth, growth of organs etc...
while in college, i did a shitload of gh research.. hell i have been involved in learning about gh since i was 19 and it was not til i was 26 that i gave it a try...
