and testosterone also causes SEVERE shutdown.. one of the biggest myths out there is that testosterone somehow does not shut you down, it does in a big way as much as any AAS. the only difference is deca and tren throw your prolactin levels off and deca lingers a long time in your system which makes for a lengthy recovery
OK gotta jump in here with my mistakes.
I started working out regularly at 15. (I had been in martial arts since 10 and comps at 13) I knew absolutely nothing of working out except what was in magazines. Alot of what was in mags was about AAS and they were also heavily available in the gym. At 16 my trainer/workout partner (who was 21 at the time) got me going on my first. I didn't know any better as the internet wasn't what it is now. I had a competitive nature and wanted to win. SO I went "on" for 2 years straight without cycling properly. For those that remember Jay Cutler hadnt even turned pro yet and was making magazines at 20 years of age (he turned pro at 23yrs old for those who dont remember). That for me at the time said alot cause everyone knew he was a teenager and wasnt getting the size naturally.
The latter part of the two years I got gyno and had surgery for it at 18yrs of age. It wasnt largely noticeable but it was there, painful, and insurance paid for it to be removed.
Shortly after I was low on energy, couldn't do shit with no sex drive at 19. Went to an endocrinologist and turns out my little 2 year stint caused my system to shut down and led to me being treated with test e.
SO the results of being uneducated and not knowing what to properly take?
The bright side.
- Unlimited prescriptions of test for the remainder of my life.
- HAVING to pay for test for the remainder of my life (insurance doesnt cover it),
- Cant have kids, even if I wanted to (this caused stress for my first marriage to breakup)
- Dealing with bullshit when there was a time NO AMERICAN company was producing injectables. Not a legit company that you could buy thru a pharmacy. Only tabs and creams were available-neither worked.
- Alot of scar tissue
For me, forums like this will always provide education to a kid that will take them regardless. At least maybe they take them in a safer manner.
Hopefully they understand after getting on that they dont need them yet but its a hard decision and at that age they arent always thinking correctly. My stand is with everything available today that we didnt have back then to wait. BUT if they are to take something then at least with proper guidance so they dont fuck themselves up like I did at that age.
