Brock lesner

Brock Lesnar was the most athletically gifted heavyweight wrestler in the last 20 years of freestyle wrestling...watch his old matches on tape-- they talk about if only his skill level could catch up with his athleticism...thats when he was WINNING THE NCAA's.

Brock will be champ someday, or could be at least-- MMA is quite unpredictable..but he's already a top 10 heavyweight I bet.

No one will "Beast" Lesner on the mats.

Lesner currently trains wrestling with the 2007 ncaa HW wrestling champ.

He is the new breed of fighter.

"new breed"?? Do you watch MMA bor? The "new breed" of fighters are guys that are beasts on the ground or standing........period!! The one dimensional guys are going down like every other month now. And Kongo is a taller Crocop who will be grounded and submitted very shortly unless he up's his game. His win over Crocop didn't impress me due to Crocop now being exposed as just a K1 striker with a wicked left foot. Kongo used his reach to stay outside the whole match, and crocop doens't have the tools to make him pay for that. And I'm very underwhelmed by his striking power...........Gonzaga would put him on the floor with "one" right hand. This guy had crocop dead to rights for 3 rounds and couldn't finish him..........one dimensional. Sorry, but guys like Fedor, Couture, Henderson and Rampage are the "new breed" so to speak. Lesnar has YEARS to go before he's going to make an impact in the UFC. Guys from pride who have fought Bob Sapp will not be afraid of Lesnar, and there goes his biggest advantage.......inimidation. Top tier fighters aren't fazed by size and "mean looks" in the slightest. If you honestly think a straight ground and pound wrestler is going to dominate the top HW's in the world.........you haven't been watching MMA in the last couple years.

That being said I think it would be awesome to see Lesnar come out and tool people, I love that guy..........but he'd better be well rounded or he's going to get hurt.

Brock trains with Sean Sherk??
They just train at the same school Minnesota Martial Arts Academy. Lesnar is alittle big for sherk. lol They are working on Brock's striking and his old assistant wrestling coach/training partner helps him alot.

Jake O'brien is a one dimensional wrestler, who is undefeated. Cheick Kongo only has striking and can't stay off his back. Both are top ten. Brock Lesner can hang with any top heavyweight.

Jake O'brien top ten?? What are you smoking?

Hey, you're leaving out GSP, BJ Penn, Tyson Griffin, Nick Diaz, Gomi, and Anderson Silva in your list! :( ;)

I disagree with your opinion of Crocop, but, your observations about his last fight are dead on.

I was listing the big boys, some Light heavies in there too who I think have a legit claim to top 10 fighter status. Of course BJ and GSP are fuckin studs........there's just too many guys to list.

I hope Crocop isn't done.......I love that guy. But reality is that he's probably too old to relearn the game.....which is what he needs to do if he's going to compete. k1 strikers aren't going to get title belts in MMA federations any more.
