Blood Donation Injury question/opinion

One thing about donating blood is they have one shot. If they put the needle in and take it out, it’s over. You donated. Even if they didn’t get a drop. That’s why once it is in they do not take it out.

You told them that there was a problem and they did not remove the needle. Regardless of what you signed they can be held responsible. There is a difference of an assumed risk and getting injured in error. There was an assumed risk, you told the RN there was something wrong, and they continued.

Yea, agreed.. They did not remove it but backed it out a bit until the SCREAMING pain was gone and blood started flowing.
Then it stopped and they started jacking around with it to get it going again..

If it remains an issue I have thought about litigation, but only if I don't heal.. I need to determine if they documented the issue as at the time I did not demand it...

Last donation 6 weeks ago they came up dry on the left arm and were prepared to let me leave.
Being the great guy that I am I said "here, try my left side"..

A- is only like 5% of the population, so they are always desperate for it..
