Best Weight gainers ??

Was considering buying a weight gainer to help with my bulking and am a little stuck on what is the best around for you money.
Seen this and think it looks alrite : Nutrisport Weight Gain

If anyone on here has any ideas of a better product or website please let me know.

What do u think of the nutrisport stuff that i'v just bough any experience with the brand??
 
That stuff is crap. Cheap protein and sugar. You need to gain with more food. If you're going to supplement, use something that is going to add concentrated nutrients that put on mass. BIG BLAST was initially intended as a gainer but people have realized, it's a superior protein source that leads to better gains -- which is basically what we all want anyway. So, if you want to get bigger, make it quality muscle. Any increase in junk calories will make you gain weight. If it's sugar you want, just eat candy bars. If you want protein, make it a good one.

Exactly, when I was younger and move nieve I had used the cheap weioght gainers post workout. It didn't take long for me to find out how ineffective that was, why gain fat just to later burn it off? I'd rather have slower, quality, dense, lean gains. I through all that gainer crap in the garbage! I'm ordering some of this Big Blast for my upcoming cycle to have post workout. Heck if its as good as Nelson claims I might keep it all year round. It is expensive but if the 'rave' is true its worth it to me!
 
Big Blast if you want gainer shake.

Needto's Better Bars if you want a calorie dense protein bar. A 180g serving is ~900 kcal.
 
I saw some weightgainer in a catalogue once that had 100+g of carbs, 50g+ protein per serving and 1100 cals and 1500 if made with skimmed milk. Drinking that post and pre workout would add an easy 3000 cals on every workout day. Im buying some when I bulk again for sure. Ill find the name and post up when i find it
 
Bigblast if you can afford it. If you cant:

1 Cup Oatmeal
3 scoops EAS Whey from Sams
1 Cup Orange Juice
2 TB heavy cream
2 TB flax meal
10g Creatine
10g Gutamine

Blend and grow.

this is oddly reminiscent of that famous quote "if you plant it, they will grow" (or something like that)

okay so this shake is good, but let's develop it a little more.

1 cup Oatmeal (toasted or raw)
2 scoops EAS Whey from Sams
1/2 cup of Grape Juice
1 Tbsp Olive Oil (substitute flax or fish oils if wanted)
1 hand full of blueberries
1 1/2 hand full of strawberries
1 Tbsp Honey
1/2 Cup ANPB (substitute cheap stuff if you want)
1 hand full of pumpkin seeds
1 hand full of mixed nuts
2 Tbsp Cinnamon

Oatmeal for slow carbs. Protein for, well, you are in the wrong place if i need to explain that. Grape juice because it is highly acidic, but not high in sugar, also high in antioxidants and resveratrol; both of these lowering cholesterol and increasing blood flow circulation increasing the rate that nutrients are absorbed into muscles of body. Olive oil increases metabolism and bone growth. Blueberries and strawberries have nutrients your body needs, while honey increases metabolism. ANPB contains resveratrol also and high amounts of proteins and healthy fats. Pumpkin seeds deliver amino acids to the body while mixed nuts contain even more protein and unsaturated fatty acids. Finally cinnamon helps increase regeneration of the body, decreasing the amount of time your body needs to recouperate and also increases metabolism.

You may ask why your body needs to increase metabolism so much. Well it's a fact that if your metabolism is higher, you are more likely to crave more food and want to eat more. The shake may be a little thick so add some ice cubes to thin it out if needed and drink out of a large cup! You are more likely to drink it all if you don't have to fill your cup more than once. Think about it as tricking your body into thinking you aren't taking in as much as you are. This is a post workout shake, which will get some of the nutrients that your body needs while in hypertrophy.

If you blend it, you will grow! :biggrin:

Im currently using Cytogainer and have been for months. I take a few servings a day and get good results as long as I stick to it and keep the drinking to a minimum. I kinda want to try this Big Blast though.
 
I highly suggest NeedTo's weight gainining formula plus a little extra recommendation from myself. The recipe includes 2 Better Protein Bars:p from Needtobuildmuscle.com. Where it states to add 2 servings of protein powder, I would highly encourage BigBlast:evil:!!

Ingredients
1 1/2cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 servings of your favorite protein powder
2 original recipe better protein bars.

Add all ingredents to a large blender. Mix on high for 30 seconds.

Total

1,405 cals

71.8 fat

97.7 carbs

103.4 protein

This is great for hard gainers and people looking to put on weight. Taste great and goes down easy. It is on the thicker side but you can thin it out by adding a half cup of water or a few ice cubs if you like.

Holly shit!!! That's a bulk gainer for real. If you decide to try this out maybe split it into two meals :)

Bigblast bro has really got me some good gains and positive ones. It is expensive BUT it will benefit you in the long run. In 1 months time or less, you will "feel" the bulkness and thickness in you. Hard to explain but if you search around here for reviews, you will see it is all positive. Don't waste your $ on high sugar Brand Name gainers. It has the best components in it including protein serum plasma. Call them, ask for an EF discount and they will honor it. You will save shipping charges and then some!
It tastes real good bro. I love vanilla cause you can do anything with it. Other popular flavors such as the orange are good. Nelson would be the one to tell you more about BigBlast but I have told you the "outer shell" as far as the details on it. He would tell you the nucleus of it. I highly recommend it. Order it and come back in 3-4 weeks later telling me how satisfied you were with it.
 
The problem with taking in 100 grams of protein in one serving is that your body expells more than half without using it!

I agree, you guys are going overboard with the ammounts for post workout imo. Plus I don't advise high ammounts of fat as it slows digestion and should be later taken. Last meal of the deal or preworkout for example. Just my protocal, sticking to a fast digestion protein like whey and some simple carbs. 45 min-1 hour after eat as you normally would. However I go one step further with a couple cups of white rice and two chicken breasts. I've been growing like a weed with this and its all been lean. I care less about soley relying on the scale as gauging my progess when you know that its partial to fat gains. I's rather it be as lean as possible myself. Just made an order of big blast, all that I've heard about it I can't wait to try it out!
 
Agreed BUT in that case you can really spread the intake without having to consume it at one time. The way I would split it up is consume half of the shake at lunch and finish other half at 3pm, for example purposes. I like to do mine that way so I can have maximum protein digestion rather than only being able to digest half of the shake.

Do that, but, snack on nuts all day. Boil up some eggs and have 4-6 throughout the day. Add an extra BIG BLAST before bedtime. You can put on 10 pounds in 2 weeks.
 
Up your mass! and "muscle juice" are pretty good. I think they are both around 2500cals when mixed with milk and the servings are not too much to drink in one go.

People have got to learn that a macronutrient has a set amount of calories and there are no magic ingredients to change that.

What makes BIG BLAST superior is that it also has a superior creatine (which adds weight in the form of more water absorbed into the muscle) more NO2, which increases blood volume in the muscle, healthy fats, and super plasma serum which is a form of protein that bypasses the digestive track and is absorbed into the bloodstream.

no kidding. i have yet to walk into a store and find a gainer that isn't garbage. i just went looking recently because i was out of bb and the best i could find was monster milk but that still isnt that good.

That's the truth!
I wish I could try to convince people how great BigBlast really is over all those crummy weight gainers with all the garbage in it. Its all crap for the most part. I would put BB up in a sticky for the top weightgainer overall as a wholesale weightgainer. Sure, you can make homemade gainers which are great BUT an all in one container= Bigblast. Its got the quality components that others lack and its significant results.:supercool
 
others have said, will just re-iterate.... most weight gainers are garbage! the only one I would recommend is Big Blast...has quality protein and IGF factors...and tastes pretty damn good... that being said, stick with whole foods... it's really easy to get (good) calories with complex carbs, lean red meat, and good fats
 
Just ordered 10 lbs of big blast today, was using monster milk for the last couple months but run out. I'm pretty satisfied thus far with protein factories stuff...the price is high but I'm satisfied. We'll see how big blast stacks up! I still have about a pound of SPP from my last PF order so I think I'll add an extra scoop with my big blast shakes to see how it works out.
