Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Anyone have a good method of sterilizing the 10ml bottles for storing your homebrew? I have some more test powders I want to make some prop and sust next week for my bros but I have 50 bottles that came non sterilized. What is the best method of making them clean and good to go? same with those rubber stoppers? any feedback would be great!

Autoclave both vials and stoppers.

I like to wash mine with an anti-bacterial soap, rinse with distilled water, then an alcohol/water bath, then cover the tops with aluminum foil and bake 30-45 minutes.
I have the complete process in a word doc but that is the short version. Your bottles stay sterile until you break the aluminum to fill.
Like 4T says, te autoclave is the best solution but many of us dont have that available. I have used the aboove process for a while and never had a sterility issue.

Mh's way works too also you could buy a cheap pressure cooker.
Get the chemiclave 5000. You just need the sterisolution and the machine is automatic and simple to use. Shut and lock the door it will do the rest.
