Best things to help us keep mass after a cycle??

This is very important topic.

Keeping gains are the real part of the AAS game. Even a newbie can gain , but keeping is totally a different animal.

here are few things come to my mind.

Creatine ---- for ATP and cell volume
Beta Alanine--- endurance, more reps , synergy with creatine
Insulin ---- although not advised, it is good. lowering SHBG anti-catabolism, better nutrient delivery, again more glycogen,more volume.

I believe there should be an pre-workout supplement because nobody has any motivation left after the cycle. We might use few things that will get us good pumps etc.... Even n0-xplode will be great in my opinion.
Again there are Omega's products.

Nelson has some good opinions, I beleive he advises Vigor, I would appreciate him joining for more info.

We should also aim for more free test and low SHBG , stinging nettle tea is my cheap choice in here. We all know about Unleashed

For me, appetite decreases a lot , motivation is definitely not that good , and since I subconsciously eat less sometimes , I lose some weight . MY diet is not in check that much; Although I am a pro, I always aim to enjoy life. I made the mistake off making training n diet my only priority in the past. Anyway , I still keep a cool amount...

So that shall bring us to something that will keep the fat gain in check, especially intra-abdominal gains due to cortisol rebound.
What do you guys advise for this??


What else do y'all think is helpful and gave you the best results??
 
First step is obviously a good PCT. If you have problems with cortisol, the only thing I have seen to fight it is endo amp from Primordial.

Other than that, I believe that longer cycles lead to more LBM kept during PCT. With 2-3 month cycles and a good 1 month closer, I have never noticeably lost mass or had any problems rebounding. That's just me though... And I always take AI's during cycle to keep water weight off. So there isn't a bunch of water shedding disguising losing gains.

Just my opinion... But if you have a nice PCT, a good cycle closer, and keep training efficiently, you shouldn't have any problems maintaining gains.

Also I like longer cycles because I feel that my body gets used to the extra mass. I don't typically gain at all during my closer cycle, but I believe that last month helps maintain when you come off into PCT.

My closer to my current cycle will be 50mg proviron ed, unleashed, and katanadrol. Test will be dropped. Before I have done 50mg proviron, unleashed, winstrol and that has worked super for me as well.
 
hcg, nolva/or clomid post cycle

Protein in the form of shakes and food

igf-1

proper vitamin intake(mostly through diet) and sleep

Good diet will control cortisol levels along with eliminating caffeine and other stimulants.Also sure not to overtrain while not on the sauce.

Anything else not mentioned here is most likely because I do not reccomend it!
 
All good suggestions. Off the bat, I'd say you can't go wrong with UNLEASHED, BIG BLAST (which has creatine and NO2) and PP's Recovery Stack -- all good stuff to maintain muscle. Remember, you don;t want to use anything suppressive. That's the worst thing you can do.

Vigor was a great supplement but too weird for the masses and sales were low so it was discontinued.

There are other ingredients that'll help "bridge" you in-between cycles. I'd give a listing but needto and I have thinking of putting it all together in a single supp which will work as an all-in-one "muscle maintenence" supp so maybe it's best to keep it a secret a while. Don't mean to be a dick, but Ross may be reading this. :D

I find that if I eat just a little bit more than I was while actually on cycle, I'll keep the muscle. Of course, trade off is a slight elevation in fat levels. I also use some ephedrine/caffeine here and there if my motivation is crappy and I just can't seem to find it in me to go to the gym.

Try using b-12 injectable instead. Increase appetite and energy!

One more thing, whenever there is something to help keep gains , I want to use it on cycle, too . :biggrin:

I do believe cortisol rebound is an important problem . Since I always keep my BF% at low levels and hate even seeing a little fat gain, it creates problems for me. I am sure it does for some of you guys, too.

Also any of you guys trained with high volume while on and switched to low volume but very high intensity off-cycle???
I want to learn how you responded to this in form of keeping gains??
