Basic employment drug test

This may seem like a stupid question, but I am wondering if the basic lab urinalysis for pre employment has any way to detect dbol, nolvadex, or clomid. I am just some-what paranoid about it because I got one coming up and need some insight from those of you that know the facts about it. Thanks:confused:
 
You have no worries!! If its a screening, watch out for ECA's. It might show up as an amphetamine. If you eat a poppy seed bagel, you will test positive for opiates. If its a urinalysis, it wont show up. The drug screenings are very sensitive.

Steroids are a completely different test and it is much more expensive!
 
That sucks because I love using ephedra for workouts. How long will the ephedra stay in your system?? Couple of days, week??
I haven't used it for about a week anyway.

Maybe. However if your company is large enough they may have employees who do the drug screening (like the company I used to work for). If your test were to come up as a non negative then it would be sent off to a lab for further analysis and the ephedra metabolites should show up as not being amphetamines (I'm not positive, as all the guys I ever tested (100's mind you) never had this problem come up)

You have nothing to worry about. Most employment drug tests are D.O.T or non D.O.T. (Department of Transportation) They test for the basics; cocain, pot, amphetamines, etc. If you call "Doctors on Duty" they can inform you about what drugs each screening tests for, by law it is you right to know. Testing for AAS is an entirly different test.

I have a friend who is in Human Resources, and all drug tests go through her, let me know if you need any more help.
 
hey guys, I'll do the research and do one big post breaking down these drug tests and some rights that employee's have if they test positive. Give me a few days.
 
What kind of company may actually ask for a drug screen. I'm just being curious cause here nobody will ever ask you for one.

i work for a large insurance company and they make them here mandatory, its part of the whole process of employment.

its basically a libility issue. companies dont want "druggies" working for them.

They want honest hardworking people


im not saying this is my opinion, im just saying its the opinion perceived by large companies

Steroids are never tested for in a standard employment drug screen.

The poppy seed thing is no longer an issue. The cutoff level has been increased for opiates so as not to include this false positive.

Ephedrine, norephedrine, clenbuterol, and similar substances are very close in structure to amphetamines. Depending on the type of test performed, these could show up as false positives. If you're doing a urine test, give your body two to three days for these substances to clear, and you'll be fine.

Hair tests are a completely different subject...
 
Thank you for the good information on this topic. I will stay clear of ephedra before this test. I just wanted to make sure that I can stay on these dbols for this test. I new that steroids are not tested for, but being that the dianabol that I am taking is in a pill, I wanted to make absolutly sure. Thanks guys!:D

My test will be for police work.

Most large companies here in the US will make you take a preemployment drug screen. I worked for a large construction co. and had to test all employees before they could be brought on. Also whenever an employee was involved in any incident or accident (and these happened almost daily) they had to be tested.
 
Ok guys, here is what I have found.


for D.O.T (department of transportation) tests

they test for 5 different types

type how long in system

pot 30 + days
cocaine 1-2 days
opiates (heroin) 1-3 days
amphetamines (speed, crank) 1-2 days
phencyclidine (PCP) 1-8 days


NON DOT

pot
cocaine
opiates
amphetamines
phencyclidine
barbiturates (amytal) 2-3 days
benzodiazepines (valium) 2-3 days
methadone 10-15 days
methaqualone 10-15 days
propoxyphene

of course the tests depend on how long the person used and at what amount.

the poppy seed thing and second hand pot smoke detection is false. these screenings test for higher concentractions, so you will not show up positive for these two.

There is a bunch more crap about laws and procedures, not gonna waste my time.

As long as you stay away from pot, you basically have nothing to worry about!

I would like to add that if anybody has considered using a synthedic urine sample for a drug screening because of pot use........DON'T DO IT!!! I used one and it did not work for the lab test that I took. The test came back inconclusive. I had to retest;
Luckily my second test was clean as a bell. The synthedic is a waste of money. You would be better off with Ready-Clean or Detoxify products.

Christ, Here to work in a 7-11 they get drug tested. I guess their idea of 'high tech' is working the slurpee machine.
 
Drug test will soon be on all regular jobs. Hair test will also soon be used regularly. They already sell formulas that will get the toxins out of your hair. Before you know it, the only way to pass the damn things will be to just stay clean at all times.:bawling:
 
Guys that's pathetic. Do you realize here they will never test you ? Not even in LE or to work for a federal agency ? Wow testing for 7-11..... that's truly sad....
 
To work for a federal agency or LE in America, they want everthing about you; I wouldn't be suprised if they asked you what your dick size was!!
